About this property

The Bahama House it is a beautiful home like new located on a quiet peaceful bay called Coco Bay on the island of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. The Bahama House has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, A/C, full house generator, fully equipped kitchen featuring granite counter tops, disposal, recessed lightning, stainless steel appliances including ice/water in the refrigerator door and all the appliances you have at home. Also, the home features a large open living/dining area with cathedral ceilings, recessed lightning, a copula, ceiling fans, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, and desk with a VHF radio to communicate around the island. The great room is a wonderful place to gather and exchange stories following a day outside enjoying the tropics, surf the internet on our high speed wireless, or enjoy watching a movie on our flat screen television.

A wrap around deck completes the home featuring a 60' porch and step down to a huge sun deck to enjoy the magnificent view of Coco Bay during the day and the absolutely incredible stars at night.

The master bedroom features a roomy King Size Bed with Sliding Glass Doors opening onto the Deck. The Master Bath features marble counter tops, two marble above counter vessels and a huge tumbled marble walk in shower. The walk in closet will accommodate all your needs with suitcase holders, but all you really need is a swim suit, beach towel and casual dinner wear.

Two additional bedrooms include comfortable queen size beds, night stands and dressers and the fourth bedroom features a trundle bed with pull out that sleeps two. There are two additional full bathrooms with tubs, tumbled marble, and showers.

This is a perfect home for a large family or a group. The Bahama House is right on Coco Bay, a great beach for walking, shelling, bone-fishing, snorkeling and swimming. There is a dock close by where you can tie up your rental boat. Also, there is plenty of room to park a golf cart rental at the side of the house. Enjoy your private beach including sandy white sand & beach chairs on Coco Bay to sit by or in the pristine
water of Coco Bay & soak in the sun or bring a float & dream about how you can plan your return to this paradise.

The Bahama House is a comfortable home to unwind, relax and rest and offers plenty of privacy but only a short golf cart ride for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don’t feel like cooking.

Everyone can hang out on the deck and watch the sunsets and you can stay in and cook or you are a short golf cart ride to Green Turtle Club or Bluff House for dinner, or have a chef come and prepare a meal for you.... the choice is yours.

great again as expected

we have been to the island several times and stayed at the Bahama house 2 times for 2 weeks each. The location is perfect, and the house is in great shape. plenty of swimming, sea life and of course rum punch make this a great island get away, enjoy.

Best house on the island

AMAZING!! From talking with Peggy before our arrival to the check in process, was above and beyond. The location of the house, the private beach, paddle board, kayaks and turtles and stingrays just steps away was more than we expected. We were on GTC for our daughter’s wedding and multiple people stopped by and said this was the best house on the island. It was truly a dream staying here. This will be the only house I book when we come back.

Great vacation

House was in a great location and well stocked and very clean and nice. Communication with Peggy was so nice and helpful and also Leslie took care of us getting settled in and helping us. We will definitely be back. Love this island and also this house.

Wonderful family reunion

Our family (7 adults) spent a wonderful week at the Bahama House. It could not have been more perfect from my first emails to Peggy full of questions to our checkout and ferry. The accommodations and whole house were clean comfortable and large enough that we had lots of room for group dinners and quiet conversations. The turtles and rays at the dock are magical. The snorkeling right offshore on the east side of the island is amazing. Take Peggy’s advice and do your major grocery shopping in Marsh Harbor. Also keep in mind that Marsh Harbor airport is not IFR capable so if the weather isn’t great you may not get in or out on time. This could mean a day or two delay. Flexibility is key.

The title says it all. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals all over the world in the last few years. The Bahama House on Coco Bay is as good as they get.

This house is so amazing and exactly what was explained. It was situated in the most beautiful bay, convenient to everything. The management was super helpful, I would take my family back to Green Turtle and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. We were spoiled! Thank you!!

Best house on the island!

This is my 8th year staying on Green Turtle and the Bahama House is by far the best house on the island! The house is beautiful and spacious and easily accommodated my family and friends. The location is perfect on Coco Bay, and I was able to keep my boat at the public dock. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Bahama House August Stay

Great property and location! Any Abaco vacation has certain obstacles, such as traveling in thunderstorms, power outages and surges (affect appliances), Noseeum bugs, etc. However, we had a really nice stay at Bahama House.

Return Trip

This house location and accommodation were perfect. We have been to the island 4 times. This was the first time staying in Bahama House and won’t be our last. The set up, AC, kitchen, WiFi, grill sitting areas, bed rooms all perfect for a great stay. Beach is 20 steps away, float in your own private ocean. Was very hard to leave.

WOW-WOW-WOW!!!

What a fantastic property and experience! To begin with, Peggy the owner contacted us weeks before our trip to make arrangements for our airport and Ferry transfers. She was very responsive to my texts and phone calls. Upon arrival we greeted at the airport by Omri the driver, a very nice local man. He drove us to a local grocery store and then on to Treasure Cay Ferry. Upon arrival at Green Turtle Cay we were greeted at the dock by Leslie who works with the property management team, she helped us load our provisions onto a hauling golf cart and drove us to the the golf cart rental place. From there she helped us to the house and unload. We were given a loaf of local baked coconut bread that was FANTASTIC, we ate on it all week. I cannot say enough about the house. It was so tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location on Coco Bay is the best on the Island if not in all of the ABACOS. The weather was typical for the islands, some rain, some wind and lots of sun. The only thing I wish was better was internet service. The islands internet service is cellular so it’s slow island wide. The house was fantastic. We will definitely return and we highly recommend it!!

Sisterhood Travels

We have an annual girls trip and this house was perfect for our stay. Location is beautiful. The house is gorgeous and all the amenities of home. 4 beautiful rooms 3 beautiful baths. Kitchen has all you need to prepare any meal. The people of the island are amazing. Corresponded the whole time with Peggy the homeowner. She’s the sweetest!

Highly Recommend the Bahama House - Great Views

We highly recommend the Bahama House!! We have stayed in multiple rentals across Green Turtle, and while they all have been great, The Bahama House is our favorite. There was more than enough room for our group and a beautiful wrap around porch. The views of Coco Bay are outstanding. Peggy was very helpful, communicative and made sure we were taken care of the entire trip. Can’t wait to return!!

The Bahama House for the win!

This is the second time we've stayed at the Bahama house and it's simply the best location! The home itself is beautiful and right on Cocoa Bay. Steps from the beach, close to Green Turtle Club and great exploratory walks in every direction. Something I love about this house is that if you have family or guests the bedrooms are in the 4 corners of the house so there is plenty of privacy and an amazing shared living space with open kitchen. The property manager is incredibly accommodating and kind. The owners of the house truly care about their guests experience because they have a close connection to Green Turtle and its beauty. I really can't say enough good things about this VRBO and I can't wait to come back!

Amazing Home on Coco Bay

This is my second stay at Bahama Beach House. It is ideal for 3 couples but can comfortably fit 4. Coastal elegance and comfort. One of the few homes in this area with an enormous outside sitting area overlooking beautiful Coco Bay. House has great linens, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. Great for family or gatherings with friends.

Amazing home/location

The property was beautiful and located in a nice location near coco bay. Lovely lawn chairs across the street from home on the bay. The property owner was very helpful contacting to make sure we had arranged golf carts and docking for our boat. She also followed up to ensure everything was going well.

Coco Bay Stay

Great size house for large group. Location awesome, especially if renting a boat, can dock on the bay. Bay great spot for young kids to swim/float. Only issue with house was mediocre wifi. Thanks for everything!

Incredible!

This house and location is the most incredible place on earth that I have experienced. We stayed 7 days. Everyone on the island is very friendly. We brought our boat over and the dock is about 150 yards away. Julie the on island property manager is great. She is very responsive and even helped with logistics not related to the house like golf carts, taxis and ferry. She is very well connected in the Bahamas. We can't wait to go back!

Lovely quiet spot

The house was extremely comfortable for our 2 couples. The setting is lovely and property manager and owner were responsive and very helpful. Things I didn’t know were that the water is a bit cold at this time of year and that Coco Bay is shallow with a mostly grassy bottom That said, it is very calm and I would consider coming back at a warmer time of year with my grandkids. People living on the island were super friendly and helpful. Dorian’s impacts are still all around but watching the resilience of residents and business owners has its own unique charm. Everyday looks to bring great progress. I would highly recommend Coco Bay house for a quiet beach vacation

This was a great property for all of our needs and a very convenient location to Green Turtle Club. We stayed very comfortably and enjoyed the bay and views. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Green Turtle Cay.
