Aloha!

This unit places you amid lovely tropical garden areas with views of the Ocean. An ocean front pool with cabana, a reading library, gas grills, lounge chairs, tennis/pickleball courts and shuffleboard are here for you to enjoy. The unit itself has two different size coolers, beach chairs, beach towels and binoculars for bird and whale-watching.

Discounts are available to travel workers and long term visitors staying multiple months.

Wavecrest Resort rests on the East side of Molokai, the most richly forested part of the island. It is where you will see Kamakou, Molokai’s highest mountain and 28 miles of Hawaii’s longest continuous fringing reef. Leave the windows open and the trade winds will keep you cool naturally.

Feel at peace seeing the sunset and stars from your lanai or one the many seating areas on the grounds of this quiet and friendly rural community. During certain times of the year you can whale watch from the Cabana or any number of benches overlooking the ocean.

The easiest way to fly to Molokai is to take a commercial airline to either Honolulu (HNL) or Maui (OGG). I prefer flying into Maui because it's a much smaller airport than Honolulu so its easy to find your way, plus, when you hop to Molokai from Maui, you fly around the north side of Molokai, where you can see absolutely stunning views of the sea cliffs and waterfalls. The only way to see the north side of the island is by plane or boat. Be sure to sit on the left side of the plane when arriving to Molokai if you hop from Maui. From either Honolulu or Maui, you'll need to take a hop to Molokai on Mokulele Airlines. Mokulele is the only airline that books these inter-island hops.

Awesome place to stay!

I highly recommend this place. We really enjoyed our time here. The condo is stocked with all of the necessary items and then some. The host is easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again!

Clean and beautiful view

I would definitely stay here again. Kitchen was fully equipped. It got a little warm during the day but they’re are plenty of fans in the unit.

Million Dollar View

This sweet, small condo has the quintessential tropical paradise view, at a bargain price. Molokai has spectacular beaches which we frequently had to ourselves and snorkeling/diving is a must.

Gorgeous views; quiet property; car provided

Brenda was an excellent host. She made it very straightforward to pick up the car at the airport and check in to the condo. The condo has a perfect location for viewing the sunrise. We had everything we needed.

Beautiful View Spot, Amazing Host!

We really enjoyed staying at Brenda's condo. The view from the balcony was beyond beautiful! It was perfect and we had everything we could ever need. She thought of everything to make sure her guest were comfortable and had things at our fingertips! The car rental was on point and super great on gas. Definite will book again!

Sweet Stay on Molokai

We loved Brenda's condo for our 6 day stay on Molokai. It was clean and spacious and we loved that the kitchen was stocked with some basic necessities like condiments and spices so we didn't have to buy something we'd need to leave behind. She also provided chairs and coolers for beach excursions. The availability to rent her car when renting her place was also a wonderful and cost efficient benefit!

Amazing sunrise and sunsets

Wow, can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay in this condo was. This condo is true to its description. The kitchen is fully stocked, for people who have to cook all their meals, it was great! The grounds at the condo complex are beautiful. The condo owner was the nicest, most responsive owner we have encountered. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay on Molokai

Brenda is an amazing host. Her condo has everything I needed, from beach chairs and towels, to everything I needed to prepare my own meals. She even supplied me with some “rooster relief”. Wavecrest is a perfect location to explore the entire island. It is nice and quiet with very little traffic. Brenda was available to answer ANY question I had about the condo or the island. It was an extra bonus to be able to rent and use her car. I can’t wait to do it again next year.

Excellent Unit on Beautiful Molokai

This amazing unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and the Wavecrest complex. It was extremely clean and better stocked than anyplace we have ever stayed. A great cross-breeze meant we rarely had to use the many fans that were available. The unit’s owner/property manager is fantastic to deal with as she is responsive and quick to resolve any issue. She made our 4-week stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. If you are going to Molokai, you can’t do better than this unit and the Wavecrest complex.

Perfect condo

We stayed here for 5 days and cannot say enough positive comments about this condo and it’s idyllic setting. The furnishings are comfortable, Hawaiian style, and attractive. The condo was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We had a great view of the ocean and the grounds are truly beautiful. You can catch both sunrises and sunsets from this property. The pool was also lovely, large, clean- perfect for laps. The East end of the island is more lush and pretty. We were Brenda’s first guests and she was very responsive. We also really enjoyed the Lexus- large, comfortable, something The Beach Boys would drive around singing in! Molokai is more laid back than any of the other islands we’ve visited- the vibe is so relaxed it’s infectious! The hike to the Mo’alu Falls was wonderful as was a Fish and Dive snorkel trip. We would definitely book here again.

A good place to relax

Our stay at Wavecrest in Molokai was good for us. After a week of family reunion in Oahu, Wavecrest was the place to kick-back. We have been coming to Wavecrest since 1990. We usually split our time between Oahu and Molokai. Brenda's condo unit and car were very nice. Access to keys for both was quite easy. The car is kept at the airport and is fuel efficient. Both also were clean, well appointed and ready for us. If you are expecting the tourism and nightlife of Maui and Waikiki then don't come here. This place encourages you to go to bed early and wake with the roosters. There is a small library of summer reading and DVDs, a pool, BBQ grills, shuffleboard and tennis courts (BYO rackets) and nice benches for sunset views. You can see whales during their migratory season. We spent our days visiting different beaches and the Kalapapa lookout. Wavecrest is located on the East end of Molokai which is the wet end where the beaches are smaller but more protected. The west end is drier and has the longest beach but surf can be rougher depending on the season. You should buy your main groceries in Kaunakakai. We preferred the Friendly's market. You can also get some items at the small store in Ualapue near to the condo. It also has a lunch counter for takeout but the counter closes in mid-afternoon. Enjoy yourself. We always do. I am a healthcare worker, and I consider myself very lucky to have spent several months on the beautiful island of Molokai. It was one of life's great marvels to be in a place where development has been kept at bay for decades for the sake of the environment and culture. Molokai is not like any of the other Hawaiian Islands. It is my hope that I can return many more times, but while I'm away, I am happy to offer this condo to others so that they might experience the beauty, warmth and peace that is Molokai.

If you are wanting a peaceful place to feel you have truly gotten away, this condominium community stands alone, only three stories high, on the East Side of Molokai, surrounded by no other condominiums just real, natural beauty; the ocean in front of you, the mountains and sea cliffs behind you. If you want to slow down and breathe, to see what Hawaii looked like "before", if you have a curiosity and respect for a people's culture and history, Molokai may be perfect for you.
