MOLOKAI ISLAND Two Bedroom Oceanfront Top End Unit!

Welcome to Wavecrest! Unique 2 bedroom unit -only a few with double lanais. The privacy of the top end offers the best ocean views. This property is 13 miles from Kaunakakai on the east end towards the Halawa Valley. Wavecrest offers an oceanfront pool with a large attached cabana. Two gas grills, vending machine and refrigerator. Also, a gated two private tennis court facility. Humpback whales are often sighted just beyond the fringing reef. Nearby Murphy's Beach 19mm or Sandy Beach 22mm is the favorite snorkeling and swimming spot on the island.

This two-bedroom two bath condo is an oceanfront end unit which boasts two lanai's! Nothing but blue sky and ocean! Fabulous views of Maui and Lanai as well! The kitchen, floors and baths have all been nicely upgraded. The master bedroom has a spacious king bed, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. There is a pull-out sofa bed in the living area and a futon on one lanai which can sleep two more! Lots of space for your family and friends!

The living area has ample seating, as well as a large wall mounted TV. Extra TV in the master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, rice and coffee maker.

Relax by the ocean front pool! Play on beautifully maintained tennis courts! Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the gardens, ocean and sunsets. Parking is close to the building, and stairs are located close by.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. The unit seemed to have everything we needed for our stay. We cooked every meal during our stay and the kitchen had everything. The host even checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The grounds are well maintained and everyone was so nice.

This unit is located at the end of building on the top floor (top right in picture) with good views of the ocean. Rooms are spacious. The two bathrooms share a shower in the middle. All was very clean and plenty of amenities provided. And, it is a very short walk to the pool and cabana. This was our first visit to Molokai and this particular complex might be one of the better surviving condo complexes available. A number were built when the island had more industry and several have been abandoned and others appear run down. There are owners at this complex who spend significant time here and meet regularly in the Cabana to play games or share meals. You might even experience a local band dropping in to play as we did. Annie (owner/contact for this unit) is super helpful with lots of recommendations for the island. It is a fair distance to stores for supplies so one needs to be aware you don't just run to the store quickly. There are also some neighboring dogs that can be loud and heard at night if riled up. Those are the only negatives we should share. If visiting Molokai this is an excellent place to stay.

Mahalo for our beautiful home away from home. We stayed for 8 nights. Ann had reached out beforehand to see if we needed anything, when we arrived to make sure everything was ok, and was responsive when we did need something! There was an issue with not having hot water when we first got there (seemed like a pilot light or something thing simple..) Ann was notified and the issue resolved within 30 min! The accommodations were clean, well equipped, and spacious enough for our family.The grounds are beautiful, the pool is wonderful, the bbq and cabana area is a fun touch for evening cards and meeting new friends :) We will be back again, and would absolutely request this unit :)

Born in Indiana and moved to the islands 48 years ago. I have had the pleasure of living on Maui, Big Island, and Kauai also.
I am now retired and live in the town of Kaunakakai.
Enjoy mostly helping my guests with hikes-fishing, beaches and things to do during their stay.
Also, enjoy travel to Vegas-Turks and Caicos-Nassau-St John and St Croix.
Costa Rica-Austrailia-Lord Howel Island are now off my list.

Why they chose this property

The location and view that always changes from my lanai, sometimes hard to leave the house. Everything is on property-pool/cabana/bbqs. Great place to meet people, listen to music, sunsets and plenty of" talk story".

What makes this property unique

I looked at many condos within the Wavecrest complex, however when I walked into the TOP CORNER END UNIT with double lanais and unique 2 bedroom unit I was taken in. I feel it is the Penthouse because of the privacy of its location and décor. No matter where you are in the unit-master bedroom or living room full ocean view.
