This place was very nice. Everything was very nice and clean. Met the owner and was very helpful when needed. Everything that was needed was supplied. The lake is right out the back door. Would definitely stay again if we ever go back

The primary access to the rental is through the back door, which is inside an enclosed porch. Upon opening the porch door for the first time, my wife and I were overwhelmed by a thick, rancid smell. We collected ourselves, held our breaths and continued into the house. It smelled bad, too, although not as bad as the porch. We opened the porch windows and turned on the two overhead fans and left the windows open and the fans on for the entire week of our stay. Despite doing so, the smell inside the porch never improved. While the smell inside the house did improve, it was not gone by the time we left. It was simply more tolerable. The microwave was filthy. The porch window sills were dirty and moldy. Essentials such as bar soap and coat hangers were lacking. And, the thermostat was finicky and should be replaced.

Beautiful view! Nice house! Clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the front porch for our morning coffee. The dogs enjoyed the yard to run.
