I can't say enough good things about this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived (for our 1st ever VERBO experience!) , we were impressed by the overal cleanliness and attention to detail. The home is not only spacious and well-furnished, but also incredibly comfortable—everything you need is right at your fingertips.The neighborhood is safe and quiet, which added an extra layer of peace to our stay. It's also very accessible, with nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short drive away.One of the true highlights was the gorgeous and relaxing patio and pool area. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it was the perfect spot to unwind.Communication with the host was seamless—they were responsive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway.

Beyond Amazing!If you are looking to stay in/near Tamarindo, do not hesitate in booking this place. Its perfect! The owner takes so much pride in taking care of his guests and has literally thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Check in is easy. When you walk in through the front steps the view will take your breath away. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basic essentials. The bedrooms are spacious, the mattresses very comfortable and the bathrooms so beautiful! The pool and the back patio is the most inviting space. Our children enjoyed the time in the pool and never wanted to leave. A short drive to Tamarindo. Several nice beaches nearby. We loved being able to retreat to this sanctuary after spending the day out. Cannot thank you Dennis enough for his hospitality. It was our first time in Coata Rica and we felt right at home because he was constantly in touch and took care of us.

Amazing hidden paradise

We are world travelers. This property offers all a family may need to enjoy quality time. Our host, Dennis, is one of the top three hosts (among 28 countries )we’ve had the privilege to deal with. Great House - Great Host

This is a lovely, stylish, and comfortable house which was absolutely immaculate. The host clearly cares about details and it shows in the choices of beds, towels, kitchen appliances, chairs, sofas, etc., etc. Everything is well done, nicely decorated, and of quality. The pool is fairly large and my kids enjoyed it when we weren't at the beach. There is a bit of construction in the neighborhood but that's par for Hacienda Pinilla and it was not an issue. The host was extremely accessible and helpful. We had a great visit and would happily come back.

The House was beyond beautiful

Me and my family are in love with Costa Rica and Dennis home made us love it more. I don’t know where to begin Dennis was an amazing host not to mention his house is beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice it’s better in person. There was a loft that my teenager just loved that’s not in the pics the pool was huge and lit up beautifully at night just amazing the maid came twice while we where there she cooked for us which was a plus. Its a 20 minute ride to downtown Tamarindo you have access to 4 different beaches at Hacienda Pinilla the JW Marriott as well is beach front you don’t have to leave the grounds if you dont want to we got food cooked on the grill out back by the pool I was so impressed with this home I will be back and I’m picking this home thanks again Dennis for all you did to make our stay amazing.

heaven on earth

My family of six (16 yrs+) stayed here for a week and could not have been happier. The home is welcoming, comfortable and spacious with every possible kitchen gadget you could desire. The bedrooms are huge and the beds/bedding luxurious. We especially love the big sliders to the backyard and pool because of the indoor/outdoor living it allows. The air conditioning is in each room so that we can have the whole house open during the day and bedrooms cool at night. The pool and beach paraphernalia add to the fun both at the home and the nearby beaches. Dennis, the host, is beyond accommodating. We could not ask for a nicer host. He even supplied us with some food (y cervezas) for our arrival. As a native of Costa Rica, he is very knowledgeable about the area and able to provide helpful insight. If you are looking for the perfect home base to relax and enjoy the best beaches in Costa Rica, this is the spot whether you are a couple, a group of friends or a family. We look forward to staying here again soon- for the third time :-)

Wonderful Home and Host

This home is all that it appears and more! You will find the spaces expansive and comfortable for a couple or group. The beds and linens are perfect to settle in after a long day of exploring, swimming, surfing, etc. There are plenty of towels and the kitchen is well stocked. The showers all have rainshower heads and good pressure. and ample warm water. The pool is super fun and larger than many in the area. Opening the living room doors wide open to the outside to allow for fluid indoor outdoor living is our favorite while in Costa Rica escaping the cold weather at home. We are a family of 5 including 3 boys between 17 & 20 years. Everyone was able to have great together-time but also privacy when needed. Our oldest son enjoyed the privacy of a separate casita where he can be part of the action while also having his own space. This would also be wonderful if there are multiple couples traveling together. If you are not familiar with the area of Hacienda Pinilla, you are in for a real treat! We all love the beach club and the adjacent beach although there are many beaches within just a short drive that are also beautiful for swimming, surfing, reading, walking and beachcombing. One of my favorite activities is walking from Hacienda Pinilla's Playa Langosta to the restaurants in Tamarindo at low tide. It is just over a mile each way along the beach. Our favorite restaurants are out the back entrance to HP down the dirt road. Of course, Lola's is not to be missed but there is an abundance of great options. Last but not least, Dennis could not be more accommodating and helpful! He is the best host I've ever encountered after 20+ years of VRBOing.
