Our second floor guest apartment is a relaxing living space situated two miles from downtown Long Beach and beach areas and close to freeways leading to Los Angeles and Orange County attractions. Set in Long Beach's 90806 Wrigley residential area, the guest apartment is part of our housing complex with a private entrance and secure parking in the back. Wrigley is a tree lined diverse neighborhood with a small town atmosphere but still has the amenities of the big city.

The 1940's construction style of the apartment with refinished wood floors, doors, and molding has been recently updated with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The view from upstairs of the beautiful fruit trees and garden makes this a relaxing place to just settle in and enjoy!

About denise stapleton

Hello, We are Denise and Vance and our many traveling experiences influenced the design of our newly remodeled apartment for guests. Vance is an engineer and builder and spent many long days designing and remodeling the property (the work is never done!). Denise is a retired high school teacher and spends her free time playing tennis and growing vegetables in the garden. Our Labrador dogs, Snickers and KoKo, are an important part of our family.

Why denise stapleton chose Long Beach

The guest apartment is part of our residence located in Wrigley area of Long Beach. Wrigley was one of the first communities to be established in Long Beach. The neighborhood was first developed in 1905. The town received its name from William Wrigley, the owner and founder of the well-known Wrigley Spearmint Gum Corporation in Chicago.

The residents are very active in our community organizations which focuses on neighborhood and major city issues.

What makes this apartment unique

Of course, nothing can be better than Southern California weather for the sports enthusiasts. The Los Angeles River Bike Path is a half mile from the apartment and bikes can be rented in the area. There are standard stores like grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby, as well as an authentic Mexican market and Mexican, Thai, and Vietnamese eateries.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed the comforts of home. The photos do not do it justice. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It really has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks again!

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

The owners, Denise and Vance, were very friendly, caring, and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and were always available to accommodate our needs. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The location was great and close to the downtown, supermarkets, places to eat, and major highways. We enjoyed the company of their friendly dogs, especially, Kona, the greeter and property watchman. We also enjoyed the oranges and lemons from their trees. We will recommend this property to anyone and look forward to renting it again.

Very nice location. Great condo, has everything you need.

Great experience with Denise. Awesome communication and she gave us excellent information. It was easy to find with her detailed directions. Condo is very nice - it had everything we needed. Loved the oranges.The condo is very quiet except one night the neighbor had a party with loud music from 5pm to midnight. Great place to stay!

Great Place To Stay!

I had the opportunity to stay here for 3 months during my time in Long Beach and had a great stay. Denise and Vance are great hosts and truly make you feel comfortable and welcome. Also, can't forget their dogs who are happy to see and welcome you each day. This apartment is just as described and in a great location and close to many attractions. The apartment has everything you could need during your stay, and is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice outdoor area with an orange tree right outside the front door. It also has a full stocked kitchen, big walk in shower, along with an off street parking spot which was an added bonus. Denise and Vance are very friendly and great with communication if you need anything during your stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area, and would love to stay again if I return to the area!

Feeling like being "home"

Such a wonderful and cozy place! I enjoyed my stay in this apartment very much. Everything you need was there. Very clean and tidy. Denise and Vance are lovely people! It was a pleasure. I will definitely come back! :-)

Two Sister's Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay and were quite comfortable. It's a quiet neighborhood. It is near shopping and the Metro. If you have a car, it's close to the freeway. It had everything we needed. The owner's were very pleasant and accommodating. We felt right at home. This was a big hit with both of us and should the occasion arise and we find ourselves back in Long Beach, we will return.
