Our second floor guest apartment is a relaxing living space situated two miles from downtown Long Beach and beach areas and close to freeways leading to Los Angeles and Orange County attractions. Set in Long Beach's 90806 Wrigley residential area, the guest apartment is part of our housing complex with a private entrance and secure parking in the back. Wrigley is a tree lined diverse neighborhood with a small town atmosphere but still has the amenities of the big city.

The 1940's construction style of the apartment with refinished wood floors, doors, and molding has been recently updated with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The view from upstairs of the beautiful fruit trees and garden makes this a relaxing place to just settle in and enjoy!

About denise stapleton

Hello, We are Denise and Vance and our many traveling experiences influenced the design of our newly remodeled apartment for guests. Vance is an engineer and builder and spent many long days designing and remodeling the property (the work is never done!). Denise is a retired high school teacher and spends her free time playing tennis and growing vegetables in the garden. Our Labrador dogs, Snickers and KoKo, are an important part of our family.

Why denise stapleton chose South Wrigley

The guest apartment is part of our residence located in Wrigley area of Long Beach. Wrigley was one of the first communities to be established in Long Beach. The neighborhood was first developed in 1905. The town received its name from William Wrigley, the owner and founder of the well-known Wrigley Spearmint Gum Corporation in Chicago.

The residents are very active in our community organizations which focuses on neighborhood and major city issues.

What makes this apartment unique

Of course, nothing can be better than Southern California weather for the sports enthusiasts. The Los Angeles River Bike Path is a half mile from the apartment and bikes can be rented in the area. There are standard stores like grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby, as well as an authentic Mexican market and Mexican, Thai, and Vietnamese eateries.

Great Stay!

This home has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. It is quiet, clean, a complete kitchen, a comfortable bed, and even a parking place (which is a rare thing in the Los Angeles area). We would highly recommend this home. Thank you Denise for a wonderful stay!

We loved the apartment! It was everything we needed and more. The property was nicely renovated; very fresh and clean. Well supplied with paper goods, soaps, and cleaning supplies and the kitchen had all the dishes and pans needed. Towels and bedding were very adequate. Also appreciated the laundry room on site. The property was very well secured and had appropriate lighting. The parking space was a huge asset! The owner's dogs were delightful and very well behaved. Even though the owner was away on vacation she provided a very nice substitute property manager that saw to our every need.

Cute place, very tidy, nice owners. Friendly dogs next door, some barking.

Denise and Vance were great, and everything went smoothly. The apartment itself was perfect -- spacious, tidy, with lots of natural light. The dogs next door are adorable, but they do get up early (well, for me -- maybe around 8am), so some mornings they woke us up.

Fabulous, comfortable and affordable in Long Beach

Everything was perfect. Denise and Vance greeted us and gave a quick run down of how things worked, where to park etc and then gave us complete privacy. This truly felt like home away from home. Very clean and updated with everything you could possibly want. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit. A+++
