Quite and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Paradise on the Little Red River. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed every morning on the rear deck. The red headed wood peckers seemed to have breakfast about the same time as us. Don't miss the climb to the top of Sugarloaf, it was my favorite of the trip.

Super place to spend a weekend!

The cabin was nice, clean, well equipped, and smelled nice. (I know, saying it smelled nice is an odd comment, but if you've ever walked into a funky smelling place you'll understand.) My wife never even broke out the can of Febreeze she carries everywhere we go.

I had a young bald eagle watch me fish the first day, and had all sorts of ducks join me on the water all morning. The fish were biting, and the cold weather assured that I had the river to myself. All in all, just about perfect.

The cabin was just as advertised. We experienced no problems other than the heater having a hard time keeping up. But it was 11 degrees outside, so I have to cut it some slack.

We are already planning our next trip.

We loved it! Defiantly plan on a return trip.

  • 5 of 5

We rented the cabin over the Christmas Holiday, to be near our son and his family who had moved to Arkansas, and to fish the Little Red river.

We loved the cabin, the decor was warm and inviting, it has everything you would need, a well stocked kitchen, extra linens, soaps, shampoo etc.

The fishing did not disappoint, Joe enjoyed being able to walk out the back door and catch 23-24 inch browns.

Our son and his family came and spent Christmas Eve with us. There was even a Christmas tree available for our use should we want. I brought a small artificial tree or the grand children.

The town of Heber Springs ( has stores, restaurants, business district) is just a short distance from the cabin.

We defiantly plan on returning.

Paradise on The Little Red River

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this cabin. It had everything we needed and more. This is a repeat visit and we will definitely be going back again next year. The cabin is cozy , comfortable and on the river. We fished everyday and caught brown trout and rainbow trout. This property is well maintained with lots of trees and great porches. The grill worked great. We relaxed in front of the fireplace every evening. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place to stay.

Great trip

Just what we were looking for. Cabin is very cozy and clean - pictures don’t do it justice. In a neighborhood of lake houses but feels secluded once you arrive. Private river shoal for fishing with gorgeous view. Will hopefully return next year!
