Wonderful property! The home itself is comforting and inviting in the manner it is decorated. It was peaceful and quiet, absolutely no problems or complaints to be had! Thank You for allowing us to stay here - I would absolutely book this listing again
I booked this because of a wedding at The Barn at Higgins Lake. It was close, convenient, and clean. Bonus was Houghton Lake access was in along distance!
Was extremely well put together. Close to everything and room to park a truck and trailer if your going to the lake. Host out did herself. Highly recommend this vrbo.
This was a very cute cottage and true to the description. It was clean and well stocked. All we needed to bring were our clothes, food and drinks. We will definitely keep this cottage in mind if heading to Houghton Lake again.

Thank you! I am so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay 🙂
Everything inside and outside was great. Pretty much everything you would need is in the kitchen and bathroom.
Masterbed seems more like a Full then Queen.
Loved the easy lake access and everyone was very friendly on the street. Even just sitting in the back yard was wonderful. Would definetly recommend.
We were here for a family reunion. The house we stayed. It was very cute. My brother, who has some mobility issues initially had difficulty with a steps to enter the house, but, within a day was able to get in and out safely on his own.
We did traveling to the UP and Traverse City. Boating with Family and Higgins like
We had a great time at Ashley’s cottage near the lake. There are a lot of convenient amenities that make it a great stay- lots of kitchen amenities, BBQ grill, plenty of towels, a nice outdoor space and little finishing touches like make up wipes, QTips, hair dryer etc in case you forgot yours. We had a few questions during our stay and she was very responsive. The house was very clean. And the location was perfect, Spikehorn is a nice watering hole with MI craft beer, Tip Top has excellent ice cream, and Buccelli’s had great pizza. Would book this property again!
