Sunny Home near Smith College, best neighborhood

Available from Dec 1, this lovely 3 Bedroom, 3 bathroom house is ideal for a family. You’ll appreciate the gourmet kitchen, the open floor plan, clean yet cozy feel as well as the two office spaces. Hardwood floors, rugs from our trips around the world and beautiful art make this house a sensual and warming experience. The lower level en-suite bedroom has an internet flat panel television and a firm king size bed. It is an excellent private space for guests. The den on the main level is wonderful for reading, watching the 2nd flat panel television. There is good and free internet. The house is entirely solar powered and Leeds certified. This is not primarily a rental property, it is our home. There is a park behind our house as well as lovely walks to the river and Smith College. Our neighborhood is considered one of the best in town.

We are a retired couple, who vacation in warm climates for the winter. This is our house, not a rental property per se.

Why they chose this property

Filled with beautiful art and rugs from around the world, this new house offers an exceptionally clean yet cozy space for living well.

What makes this property unique

The main floor consists of two bedrooms (one en suite with heated floors and a soaker tub), two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, den, and dining room.
Downstairs there is a guestroom with bathroom, an unfinished exercise space as well as office space. This area is heated with free standing space heaters.
The kitchen is a 'cook's kitchen" with everything you will need to cook anything.
In the den there is an internet connected television.
The house is heated and cooled with solar powered electricity, is Leeds certified and is flame free which means there is no carbon monoxide being produced. The neighborhood is based on 'New Urbanism" which means there is good walking and nice porches. There are nature trails by a river as well as a one mile walk into town.
