The apartment is located at walking distance of “Champs Elysées”. In the 17th district, one of the upper class areas in Paris, most of the building are of the Haussmanian style. It is close not only to tourist attractions like the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées, but also to super markets and fresh markets. There is a fresh market open all day at walking distance the apt. While it is very conveniently situated, the apartment is very calm.

The apartment is situated on the first floor of a stone building with an elevator. It has wooden floors, plenty of windows and is modernly decorated. The owner has played with a black and white color scheme, giving the apartment a very chic look.

On entering the apartment, one faces a window in front and one has a corridor on the left. Down the corridor one has the bathroom on right and the bedroom straight ahead. Right before the bedroom, one is welcomed into the living room.

This living-room is organized to comfortably accommodate 4 people, including sleeping two guests. It offers a comfortable couch, armchairs, a extendable table that can fit up to 6 guests and a wall unit. The living room bathes in natural light, thanks to 2 big windows that offer a view of the street and the fresh market.

The sofa can be converted into a comfortable bed for 2 people. Have a look at the photos is is really a nice bed. Moreover, the partial wall give intimacy to the sleeping corner. Owner is planning to add a curtain to separate at will the bedroom side of the living room and the dining side.

The bedroom offers a comfortable double bed and ample amount of closet space. The bedroom also profits from a large window.

The apartment has open modern kitchen that is well equipped for preparing meals.

The bathroom is fully tiled. It offers a large shower with glass doors, a vanity area as well as the washer and drier.

The toilet is located is a separate room.

The location itself is great : the “Fresh Market Poncellet”, a supermarket, and many shops are located very close to the apartment. The famous “place des Ternes” is a couple of minutes' walk away with its flowers shops and the subway. The “Arc de Triomphe” is walking distance : a good opportunity to stroll down the “Champs Elysées” in the morning when people are still waking up.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The entire apartment is roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with excellent appliances. The bedroom is a good size with ample space to store clothing in the cupboards. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. The apartment location near the Arc du Triumphe is also very convenient. It is located very near Metro Lines 1 and 2, thereby opening up all of Paris to you. The area has a daily market + many grocery stores and restaurants.

We highly recommend this apartment and hopefully will have an opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful apartment!

As a family with 12 & 15 year old daughters, this lovely apartment was perfect for us. It was exactly as it appeared in the photos: clean, well-decorated & bright. The property manager was very helpful, with detailed instructions in English. We felt very safe with 2 exterior locked doors plus the one locked door to the apartment. The location is fantastic - just 1.5 blocks to the Ternes Metro station. There's a great grocery store diagonally across the street & a stocked kitchen in which to cook with the largest refrigerator we've seen in any of our rentals our trip to France. The bathroom was spacious, clean & lots of storage for a family of 4's toiletries. The washer & dryer helped us a great deal. There's a fabulous open air market on the weekdays 1/2 block to the right of the front door. It's a quiet neighborhood - very French & we loved it. I highly recommend it & would stay there again any time we return to Paris. Excellent apartment. My daughters slept on the sofa sleeper bed & they said it was the best one on which they've ever slept. Just a true gem of an apartment!

Just as described

We were a group of three women traveling to Paris to celebrate the 50th birthday of my niece. We stayed at apt Poncelet which is on the market street of the same name in the 17th. The apartment was just a described and pictured in the pictures. It was very clean and had new kitchen appliances and a new washer and dryer. I do like this area and staying on the market street allowed us to quickly shop for food early in the morning or on our way home in the evening. It is very convenient to the metro at Ternes or Charles de Gaulle Etoile. We took the Bus Direct from the Charles de Gaulle airport and walked to the apartment. I would stay here again.

Quiet, comfortable and ideal location

My husband and I rented the apartment Poncelet for one week.

The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the photographs and was presented in any communication we had with the property manager, Jean Noel. Instructions are carefully detailed and the entire procedure was handled in a very professional manner, which we appreciated. The refund of our entire security deposit was prompt.

The location is ideal and we were able to walk our suitcases to catch the RER at Charles de Gaulle Etoile, and from there the RER B to the airport. The immediate neighbourhood provided easy access for us to groceries, and the various specialty shops for produce, cheese, seafood, bread, chocolate, etc. There were several boulangeries and traiteurs in the area as well as restaurants.

Though I expected the location to be noisy as a result of such ready access to these vendors, the apartment was quiet. The temperature was easy to maintain, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we required, including a TV and wifi. The major appliances were all in working order.

When we return to Paris, I hope that this same apartment is available for rent.

A great experience

We enjoyed our stay in the Poncelet apartment. The check-in procedure was easy, the location was convenient to the metro and the Champs-Elysees, and we loved the space and convenience of an apartment with the kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. We liked staying in a real neighborhood and enjoyed the fantastic street market on Poncelet with beautiful produce, flowers, cheeses, etc. Overall, a great experience in Paris!

Charming apartment and perfect location

My sister and I spent a week in Paris and stayed at this charming apartment. The location is perfect; easy walking distance to local restaurants, stores and pastry shops. There is also an open market selling everything from gorgeous fruit to fresh jumbo shrimp right around the corner, not to mention the various wine shops. To emphasize the ease of getting around, I have had surgeries on both of my knees yet we even walked to the Arc de Triomphe three times!

Cons: The Wi-Fi can be a little spotty, be patient and it will come back on. If you're not patient, simply bring an ethernet cable and hook it up directly to your laptop.

The team at InBeauParis was fantastic, always replying to any queries in a timely manner with understanding and politeness.

I will mention that if you are staying over the weekend, do any shopping for Sunday on Saturday as most of the stores are closed and many of the shops that are open close quite


All in all, a great apartment that I highly recommend!
