I'm glad you had such a great stay in Coeur d'alene! The house really is in a great location, minutes away from everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Welcome back anytime.
House was comfortable for our little get away with the grandkids.Check in was smoith and simple. Kitchen was nicely stocked with essentials. Maybe a sheet pan would be awesome!
Perfect place to stay for my wife & 4-year old son. Super convenient location. Property was very clean and updated with everything you might need. Host was very gracious & easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!!
We found this rental to be exactly what we were looking and hoping for. Clean, comfortable, cozy, and close to all the places we wanted to go (including Pilgrim's, a great little healthy food grocery store). The owners were so easy to work with and made it seamless for us. Thanks again!
This was very clean and nice. The owners were very responsive, set up an air mattress for our kids, and in general made us feel right at home. The upstairs was great for our kids... plenty of space for them to sleep and a tv area where the could watch while we packed/unpacked. It was great having AC (hot days!) including an additional portable unit upstairs to make sure everything stayed balanced.
Everything felt new and it was just a really pleasant stay. Should we back in the area, we'd definitely see if we could stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Selina and Matt
Hello! We are your local hosts, Matt and Selina.
We have lived in the area for 40+ years. We have three children but are getting close to the empty nester stage!
Matt has owned a structural engineering business for 25 years in town and Selina is an interior designer.
Coeur d'Alene is full of so much to do and we will happily share all the special places with you. Upon arrival I have a full guide book ready and waiting for you.
We love to play pickleball, travel (Selina just got back from Portugal with her daughter!) eat sushi, and rides motorcycles. We absolutely love hanging in town and camping in the Great Northwest.
Why they chose this property
Matt and Selina have always adored midtown/downtown CD'A and were very excited to be able to purchase this 1905 bungalow. They love doing the vacation rental scene but are also excited for the possibility that when their children are older they could stay locally in this home.
What makes this property unique
Being in a historic neighborhood, Matt and Selina love the unique characteristics of the 1905 American Bungalow. During the remodel, they got to keep a lot of the quaint characteristics of a home in that era. Be aware of the steps for the small sunken living room and mudroom which is unique to that era. They hope you love the home and it's atmosphere as much as they do!
