The Rusty Hook was everything you can expect in a great fishing camp on the water. It was extremely clean and well organized. The host went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and accommodating. I highly recommend the Rusty For your next fishing vacation. .

Our family had an outstanding stay at the Rusty Hook Inn. It was the perfect fish camp for our trip to Venice. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed after long days on the water.One of our favorite things was the location. Being at the very end of the houseboats made it feel much more private and peaceful. It was a great place to relax each evening while still being close to everything.The fishing setup couldn’t have been easier. Our charter captains picked us up directly from the dock every morning, making logistics effortless. We even watched alligators from the back deck, and my son hooked an alligator gar off the dock that nearly landed before it pulled the hooks—an unforgettable experience!The property was well maintained, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. If you’re coming to Venice for fishing, this is an outstanding place to stay. We’d absolutely book the Rusty Hook Inn again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a fishing trip.

It was clean and well maintained and A/C in every room was very nice! The filtered ice machine was great. Plenty of parking for trucks, trailers and boats. We have stayed in other boat houses in that area and it is our favorite. We will stay again!!
