Secluded Lodge with hot tub

This cozy lodge is the perfect place to get away and enjoy a relaxing vacation and be at one with nature. Newly updated throughout and attention to detail, this property will make you feel right at home. Lone Oak Lodge is nestled on 160 acres of private land including a pond. Enjoy the scenery from the expansive deck, rocking chairs under the covered porch or from the hot tub on the lower patio. This spacious lodge boasts a fully stocked kitchen with service for 16+, 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and large finished basement. Amenities include, full size washer and dryer, three fireplaces, pool table, shuffle board, corn hole boards, fire pit, hot tub and snow shoes. Enjoy skiing and golfing at Caberfae Peaks or dinner and a concert at Coyote Crossing, both within 6 minutes of the lodge. Snowmobile and ATV trails are minutes away, along with Pine River access at Dobson Bridge. The lodge is located just west of Cadillac, MI. Experience all the wildlife Wexford county has to offer here at Lone Oak Lodge.

Another amazing weekend at this wonderful place! Our 3rd time staying- house is consistently clean, comfortable, and stocked with amenities for all the fun- perfect kitchen for cooking/eating with a crowd, awesome lower level hang out space for games, hot tubbing in a winter wonderland, and walking/snowshoeing for hours around the beautiful property. Love this place!

WOW is all I can say!!! Gorgeous house, perfect location, and an amazing host (Laura was awesome and hands down the BEST host we’ve had to date). Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described (if not better!). There were 4 adults and 4 kids and the house was perfect for us!!!! We went skiing and snowmobiling at Caberfae Peaks during the day and at night at the house we played shuffleboard, pool and enjoyed the hottub. We loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend! 10/10

Winter Weekend

The cabin is Great. We had five couples and everyone loved everything about it and already want to go back in the summer. Perfect location for us less then 10 min to ski and snowmobiling. Everyone wanted to thank Laura for a fantastic weekend,just Awesome!

Family ski weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Bedrooms were spacious, lots of blankets and towels, separate enough to not wake sleeping kiddos. Kitchen is spacious, very well stocked and set up so serving food was super easy. About 15 minutes from Caberfae helped us get lots of skiing in! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Nature Retreat

The lodge is perfectly appointed. Cleanliness has exceeded expectations on each stay. Our group has had the pleasure of 3 rentals. The home has been expertly maintained. The space is wonderful for a large group. The kitchen has all your needs covered. Bedrooms are spacious and welcoming. Close proximity to the pine river is a win for us.

Ski Weekend

This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it just as much this time around and would highly recommend it to any group! Plenty of room for everyone, the long driveway was plowed for us during our stay (which received almost 2 feet of snow!), well stocked, comfortable beds... I can't say enough nice things about this property! Hopefully we'll be able to come back again next year!

Beautiful property. Well appointed with every need anticipated. Excellent space for a group. We enjoyed the hot tub and starry nights. The kitchen set up is above and beyond. Perfect ski lodge!

We had the best time at this cabin! So close to Caberfae, which was the reason for our stay. Plenty of space for 3 families without feeling cramped. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Kids loved the hot tub and the games. Kitchen was a great set up for everyone to eat together. We saw deer in the front yard nearly every time we came and went. Laura was fantastic to work with. We will absolutely be back!

Great Location

House is well stocked and perfect for a group. We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. The pool table and shuffle board also made for good times. Beautiful private forested property. The pine river is close by for Kayaking , rafting or canoeing as well as many hiking trails. Laura is a gracious host and was quick to respond to all inquiries. We plan to return to this lovely home.

Wonderful Place

This place was great! Host definitely goes above and beyond to make this a great rental. House was spacious to host 3 families with kids ranging from 6-14. We cooked in each night and had plenty of space to enjoy group dinners. In the evening, many enjoyed the hot tub or the activities in the basement. The property was also a plus as we loved being able to walk the acreage and not having neighbors within sight. Lastly, we enjoyed skiing at Caberfae and the location was an easy 12 minute drive. Would definitely book again!

Gathering of Friends

Another amazing weekend at this outstanding home. The place is immaculate, welcome basket of snacks is the best we’ve seen, beds are comfortable, open concept kitchen and great room are perfect for hanging out and feeding our group of 10 easily. Hot tub is perfect for these winter days, Downstairs was great to watch football, build puzzles, and play plenty of pool and shuffleboard. And for those of us who like a walk in the woods having 160 acres to wander is unbelievable . Kitchen has everything you need to really cook- what a relaxing place to spend our time together. Cannot wait to do it again!

Wonderful home; beautiful setting

Loved the house and its setting. The property is secluded and beautiful. The house has been redone perfectly. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the kitchen is spacious and well appointed. Beds are comfortable with great bedding. Some favorites for us were the hot tub, basement game/ tv rooms, heated floors in primary bath, and reclining sofas in family room. Set up was perfect for us- parents and 5 kids ages 12-18. House is convenient to local attractions. We skied at nearby Caberfae Peaks and dined at Coyote Crossing. Both were great. Communication with host Laura was easy and she was very responsive. We really appreciated the many little touches to make this a special stay! We definitely hope to return!

Fun for all ages !

First we were wowed by the scenery of the lot, the privacy, pond, rolling hills/ surrounding woods. Then we were impressed with the spacious layout, interior design and high quality finishes of the property. The huge master bedroom with its Uber fancy bathroom was out of a book. The walk out doorwall with pond views, vaulted ceiling, and overall up north feel decor and furniture were all on point. The leather couches were more comfortable than they looked, and the basement play space was perfect for our 2 year old. We enjoyed the hot tub, the coffee, and of course the over-the-top welcome package. We ski’d at Caber Fae during the day/night and we will be back! Thank you for being a great host as well!
