The cottage is adorable! We loved the furnishings and the proximity to shopping, food, and history. It was so peaceful, we hated to leave. Definitely coming back again!
We stayed one night - the home was perfect. Sweet decor/furnishings, lovely old cottage nestled in the trees. The bed was comfy & we appreciated the coffee in the morning. We liked it so much that we're going to stay again in a couple of weeks!

We found the cottage to be exactly as it was presented. We enjoyed our two night stay. It was very peaceful. We hiked at Payne's prairie. And visited Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings home. The historic town of Micanopy was quaint. We had the best Cuban sandwich ever there. We hope to be back.
The property was very clean and it was in a good location to get around lots of cool little places to go I appreciate the stay and look forward to coming back
We had a very quick stay, but this was very clean and easily accessible. Very close to the highway, so there was some noise from traffic. Also very close to Orange Lake so fishing was close.
We stayed from Friday-Sunday to attend a UF football game. This property is outside Gainesville but so easy to get to the Gainesville for restaurants and shopping if needed. Easy to get home after the game. We explored Micanopy’s small town and a few other things. It was quiet and relaxing. Worked out great.
Our stay at this precious cottage was exactly what we needed after traveling and festivities at college graduation. The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces. We were all extremely comfortable in the large beds with fresh clean linens, the adorable bathroom and full kitchen. The wooded grounds were interesting and had the fresh smell of jasmine wafting across the yard. The hosts were responsive and kind beyond the ordinary and check in was seamless. I could not more highly recommend booking with them and will seek them out when we are near Gainesville again.
Pros: clean, pretty quiet, lots of towels cons: musky smell, one bed good one bad creaked really bad, one live bug in bathroom. Would suggest curtains on bedroom windows for better sleep.
