Truly one-of-a-kind, this newly restored home preserves features from nearly 100 years ago when it was built for the Transylvania Tanning Company--you can view the tannery’s smokestack from the house. Walk to Brevard's downtown shops and restaurants. Conveniently located near Bracken Mountain Preserve, Brevard Music Center, and local bicycle path, each within 5 minutes. The neighborhood features a zip line park (100 yards away), and the Tannery Skate Park just around the corner.
The space
This newly restored home is situated on a large spacious yard with a patio, complete with a chimnea and patio furniture. A storage shed houses a grill and garden hose to conveniently clean up after your adventures. There's plenty of space to store your bicycles or other such equipment.
The house offers a full kitchen, full washer dryer, high speed internet (5G) and Roku TV.
There's a king size bed in the master bedroom, and a pack n play fits perfectly in the closet, affording infants their own sleeping space.

Michelle was born and raised in Southern California. After college, she met a Brevard native at church in Washington DC. International careers took us overseas for the next several years, then we repatriated back to Brevard. We have lived here for a decade. Michelle homeschools our four children ages 6-12. We love history and love the opportunity to share this historic house with you. We invite you to fall in love with our beautiful mountains as we have.
