Great property

The property was excellent. We’ll maintained and very close to the mountain. I had some trouble getting the key code from the app but the owner was very responsive and assisted us in accessing the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Hi, I'm Lia and welcome to my home that feels cozy, peaceful, yet spacious in wildly wonderful West Virginia. Firstly, I'm a wife, and mom to three beautiful boys who love visiting this home (and sharing it with you all!) I also write and manage another property.

Why they chose this property

We didn't know the home was available and just happened to be there looking at another one. I believe everything happens for a reason, and when we saw it, we just knew this was our retreat! I love the character, from the painted green cedar and stone fireplace, to the glass doors on the front of the home. The deck is large which is wonderful for entertaining and private. I love the openness and yet so many places to spend alone time and meditate or read. I kept a lot of the original art work and mixed in modern pieces. I like the history to show. A story should never be changed but a chapter can be added!

What makes this property unique

There is a private entrance for Old Timberline residents to Dolly Sods. The long driveway is helpful for multiple travelers. There is a large mudroom when you come in from the garage to take off your snow gear. You can see the slopes from the the driveway.
