Crystal, thank you for your complimentary review! We really appreciate that you took the used towels and linens to the laundry room and left the cabin very tidy. Hope you had fun during your stay.
The house was exactly what 3 retired friends needed - each had their own bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen was very well appointed. Living area was most comfortable. Beds were comfortable. House was very clean. The only caveat I would offer to future renters is to know that the entrance is at lower level; that the only access to the main level with the kitchen and 2 of the 3 bedrooms is up a flight of steps. The listing did note the steps, I just didn't fully understand the configuration.
We had a great stay at Mountainbrook and will definitely book again! The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of place. A great experience!
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The area was secluded but not that far from local restaurants and shops. Will definitely be staying here again.
My stay at Mountainbrook exceeded expectations. The house was very comfortable: the mattress was good, the bedroom carpeting was like walking on a cloud, and there was plenty of hot water for the clawfoot bathtub. Since I was there to hike and it rained the whole time, I especially appreciated the mudroom entry with heavy duty flooring and lots of places to hang wet gear. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and implements I needed. This would be a good rental property for several adults since there are three roughly equivalent adult bedrooms (plus the loft area). The hosts were responsive and provided clear info in advance of check-in. I'd definitely rent here again.

Cheryl,
Thank you so very much for your fabulous review of our cabin! We love it there too and for many of the reasons you listed. You’re welcome back anytime it’s available.
Family friends stayed at the cabin and had a wonderful time. Great location (hiked at Blackwater State Park) and amenities. Very responsive and accommodating host.
The host was vey welcoming and communicative. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Every light switch was labeled - so helpful! It was warm and cozy with more than enough room for us! Plus it was a super short drive to slopes at Timberline. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was warm and welcoming and was the perfect place to gather with a small group of friends. It’s location was a great jumping off point for a variety of winter activities and the check in/check out process was smooth and easy.
Great location, 5-10 mins drive to Timberline slopes. Spacious house, plenty room for 6 pple, could have fit another small family. Nice decor. Kitchen was very well stocked with good equipment and gadgets. Fireplace was nice. Beds were comfortable. And we loved the mudroom, very convenient to put on and unload ski gear.
