Lastly, it's worth noting that the property is a total of 75 acres, home to 2 waterfalls and a plethora of hiking possibilities right on site.
Guests may cancel for a full refund minus approximately 4% taken out for fees until 5 days before check-in. If the reservation is canceled after that, the guest is entitled to a 50% refund if canceled 24 hours prior to the beginning of the reservation. Within 24 hours of the confirmed reservation, if the guest cancels their stay, there is no refund.

Pet Policy: we allow up to 2 dogs at this property. Tenant shall remit to Host a pet fee in the amount of One Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($100.00) per permitted pet on the Premises for each night(s) rented, which is due and payable at the same time and by the same method as Tenant’s payment of Rent. We ask that you keep your dogs off of furniture, don't leave them unattended at the house and clean up any waste.

Unique and Comfortable!

We loved our stay. The space was unique, comfortable, and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the sounds of the birds, the hot tub, and the surrounding rock formations. This place was a great home base for exploring the Hocking Hills area.

Nice getaway

My impression is relaxing, warm, cozy. If you're looking for a getaway from life, kids, work, and need a romantic spot to connect with your spouce or partner this is the perfect place to do so. I enjoyed two nights here with my husband, just to unwind, relax and connect with eachother. It was a great experience, smooth, and really enjoyable. Id recommend this place again. Im sure the summer time would feel and be even more enjoyable being anle to be out on the balcony and have a fire. Id even suggest bringing friends and family here as its such a cool and fun spot and have lots of yummy restaurants near by and fun activities to do with your family. The host were top notch at providing all information and a guide that walks you through any questions or problems that could come up! 10/10 recommend. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Girls Weekend 10/10

This was by far the cutest place to stay in Hocking Hills. Loved how creative and homie the space was. Included everything for us from having a bonfire to making dinner and enjoying our surroundings. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and playing card games in the living room! Was a perfect Galentines weekend in the perfect place!

Good vibes with minor call outs

We loved the vibe of The Overlook. Lots of amenities that made it easy to pack and not have to worry. The beds are super comfortable which was a plus! The few things that need work is the cleanliness. There were tons of dead bugs everywhere. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned in a while. So we had to clean when we arrived. There also wasn’t a propane tank for the grill so we couldn’t use that, as planned, which wasn’t terrible but at this price point, I expected it to be as listed and we prepared for using it. Because it’s so bright, it gets really warm and all of the window handles to open windows were broken. The screen to the sliding door was ripped, as well. Otherwise, we enjoyed the grounds and the area. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, as well. Thank you for hosting us! We had a nice time.
