Blue on South is a newly renovated & unique property located a few minutes walk to The Village of Shelburne Falls. Access to the Deerfield River across street for paddling, swimming, fishing and enjoying what our community has to offer. I have created a thoughtfully designed and functional property for you to enjoy with friends and family. When you stay at Blue on South, you also have a Professional chef available for hire
The space:
Beautiful open floor plan with a brand new chefs kitchen. I worked with local artisans and artists to create an oasis along the Deerfield River. 2 Bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for total comfort and a half bath off the kitchen/living room. Thoughtfully designed with vintage and new furniture. With 2 decks and a sprawling backyard there is plenty of room to grill or run around. This is not a cookie cutter airbnb. I have created something special. I hope you feel that when you stay at Blue on South.

Guest FYI: Railroad crossing 250 yards up the road. 4-6 trains go through town a day.

Home away from home!

A wonderful house - cozy, clean, very nicely outfitted. We especially appreciated the tea and coffee lover’s nook. We came up to relax over the Christmas holiday week and this place was perfect. Shelburne Falls is a great little town too. Would definitely stay again!

Blue on South was perfect!

The property was perfect for our party of 3. It was quaint, cozy, comfortable and very specious. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend Blue on South!

Great place for a weekend away

Overall great house and location. Close enough for a nice walk to town. House was clean and newly updated. Property owner was great and very responsive.

Such a beautiful home

Was in the area visiting a local park with some friends. Found this house on Vrbo which suited our needs. The house in renovated nicely and thoughtfully appointed. It was super comfy for me and my three friends Kevin is a great host and he is available to Answer any questions we had. We look forward to our next visit

We loved this house! The owner waz very kimd, communicated well, shared details well, had a list of house rules (which we appreciated!) and local restaurants and stores, and supplies. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen had plenty of supplies as well as coffee and milk! They were also available for any queations and shared their phone numbers just in case. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely, clean, beautiful home!

Blue on South receives a Blue Ribbon

This VRBO rental is adorable, clean, bright, and airy, and the location is perfect. The moment we opened the door, it felt right. The host, Kevin, did fantastic with the recent renovations, utilizing the space design and functionality. The home is equipped with all the amenities you need, items considered with comfort. I loved the designated coffee/tea nook area, offering both selections for your enjoyment. We sat outside on the deck off the kitchen and enjoyed the view of the fall foliage while sipping our morning blend. Kevin is a great host and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend Blue on South.

Beautiful & Well Provisioned

My husband and I stayed here for a week while we visited family. My husband grew up in Conway. Kevin’s home is beautiful and the new modern interior design is very comfortable and appealing. Love the kitchen, walk-in shower, and comfy king-sized bed downstairs (as well as the Ashfield stone countertops)… And Suzanne’s chocolate chip cookies were a great added touch! Blue on South (great name) offers a convenient (easy walk to town) & comfortable stay!

July 9-16 Blue on South

Oh how we loved this property. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Close to lots of day trips, good restaurants, and great for just taking a down day and hanging out on the deck. Despite torrential rains all week, we had a really fun time in Massachusetts. One thi g to note is there is a train track across the street from the house about 50ft. The first time a train came through and blew it's whistle (4am) we jumped out of our skin and wondered if the trainwas headed for the house (hahaha). Kevin is a super host and communicated with us throughout our rental time. Do not hesitate to rent Blue on South

Wonderful Stsy in Western Mass

The house sits just outside the town of Shelburne Falls, a 15-20 minute walk. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed walking into town every morning, hearing the rush or the river and seeing all of the beautiful flowers! Coffee from the Maya Roasters was yum, but I didn’t even need to do that since there was coffee beans, grinder and French press at the house. The house was very clean, bright and open. Lots of natural light. We ordered some scones and a cobbler from Susanne and they were delicious. James was a great host. The house had everything and this was by far the best property I’ve stayed at and would love to stay again!

Quiet stay

A beautiful spot , great for the 3 of us. Nice new moden design , comfortable beds. Need to update amenities list , we just didnt see kitchen accessories or hot tub availability.Would love to return.

Vacation in the Berkshires

House was lovely. Very clean and well appointed. Location was convenient - less than 1 mile from downtown and near a trailhead to a swimming hole. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little house!

We loved everything about this house. The new kitchens and bathrooms were beautiful. Most of the time it was dead quiet. A few times a day you hear the choo choo of a nearby train and there was some loud street paving that was going on at the time, however, that was temporary and out of the owner's hand. The Bridge of Flowers is close by. You don't have to drive far to get to Yankee Candle or Old Deerfield Village. The only suggestion I would make for someone wanting to rent this little house is, if you are sensitive to light in the morning, you will want to bring eye masks as there are no room darkening curtains in the bedrooms.
