Great stay! Quiet and private while still having great access to all the fun things. The nature trail right outside the back door provides great access to the beach as well as the main trails. There is a nice yard space for the puppy too!

We repeated our stay this year for another 2 weeks. The house is well appointed with linens and towels in like new condition. My dog loves the big yard. I did wipe down the kitchen when we arrived. The views from the upstairs master are great. My husband really enjoyed the screen porch. I would suggest adding bath mats in the bathrooms and some additional large size mugs.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Argonauta in the Plantation on St. George Island. The lush native vegetation around the property really stood out. It provided a welcome sense of privacy and made the setting feel peaceful and natural.One of our favorite features was the short walk along the nature path to the beach. It made access easy and added to the overall charm of the location. We also made great use of the screened porch, which was a lovely spot for meals and relaxing.Inside, the home is simply and tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and uncluttered space to unwind. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, including dish soap, dishwasher and laundry pods, tissues, liquid soap, dog waste bags, and a small selection of candy.There were plenty of towels, along with brand new beach chairs. The beach cart, additional chairs, umbrella, and toys were all very convenient and made beach outings easy to enjoy.Overall, the home was comfortable for the two of us and our two Weimaraners, and the natural setting and beach access were highlights of our stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for my wife, my son, and I. The house was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and as a rarity on the island, not too big. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the short 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and from there a short 20 minute stroll to the jetty or the pool. (or a two-minute car ride). The beach chairs and the beach cart were a huge bonus. Thank you, we plan to be back!

Great Beach Escape on St. George Island!

We enjoy the beach in winter and St. George Island did not disappoint. We loved walking on the beach, the sunrises and sunsets, it was all very relaxing. Green retreat

The property was as described on VRBO. The host responded quickly to a small maintenance matter. The house was clean and well appointed with extras such as garbage bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, Kleenex and chocolate! The linens and towels were good quality.
