Welcome to Whitetail Ski Resort's premier vacation rental. Expertly designed and a 3 MINUTE walk to the ski slopes! Enjoy an open concept living room + dining room + kitchen. Fully stocked kitchen. Super cozy living room with floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. 3 spacious bedrooms, including the large primary suite with vaulted ceilings. To top it off, a sunroom with 2nd fireplace. Blazing fast Wi-Fi with private working spaces and two desks. Seriously, it's a 3-minute walk to the slopes from the front door! Plus, in the spring, summer, and fall, you can’t get a more tranquil mountain retreat - with fishing, a pool and hot tub, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, kayaking, and more!

The space
The kitchen and living spaces are all open to each other. The cozy living room has a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. There's a sunroom off of the living room. There's 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 bunk bed with trundle (2 twins, 1 full)) and 2 bathrooms, each with rainfall showers.

Guest access
Make yourself at home! You have the entire home to yourself. There is a path on the edge of the parking lot directly to the slopes! Ski down to the lifts, walk down, or take the bunny hill lift down. There's a saltwater pool in the summertime and a hot tub steps from the front door. We offer self check-in to make sure you get your vacation started right away.

Quiet condo on the mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at the relaxing condo on the mountain. The condo was very comfortable and we had easy access to the swimming pool and tennis court. We even walked on the slopes of Whitetail!

Ski-less Ski Weekend

Even though the resort was closed early for the season, we really enjoyed our stay. MJ had a great number of games to keep us busy, and a wonderful list of things to do in the area. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking, walking, and getting beers in Hagerstown. Overall, a lovely, restful weekend.

Mercersburg Academy Graduation

Absolutely perfect! Spacious, and so comfortable ( both the beds and sofas)! The kitchen had any and everything we needed. Coffee was awesome. All was just so relaxing- to sit, enjoy a meal and games with friends/ family! 💯 would stay there again. Host was easy to reach prior to arrival and checkin was beyond simple! Book now and enjoy all the gorgeous mountains have to offer in the comfort of one beautiful home.

Cute, convenient place minus one BIG thing

My family and I Stayed at Ski Ya Later this weekend. Pros: Great location directly next to Whitetail Ski resort and a short drive to the town of Mercersburg. The beds are very comfortable. The place is modern, decorated very nicely. Check in was a breeze. Nice TV, Chargers galore. Spacious- there were four of us (2 adults , 2 teens) but the place can easily sleep up to 8. Cons: We we’re very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness / cleaning service that occurred prior to our visit. I took photos (visible food crumbs all throughout on the floors- easily removed with a vacuum, the primary bathroom toilet was dirty with hair and debris on toilet, under toilet and behind the hinges, dirty microwave and fridge). My partner cleaned the toilet himself to make it comfortable for our stay and wanted to vacuum the floors himself as well. I alerted the owner right away and shared photos (as I am landlord and rent my place- so I wanted them to be aware.) Owner responded immediately to my initial message, but even after check out, I have NOT received any follow up, explanation or adjustments for this which is unfortunate. I keep a beautiful, clean home and expect my vrbo stays to be clean as well. I would be open to returning if I had more information/ confidence around the cleanliness for future stays.

Aside from owning and hosting Ski Ya Later Whitetail, I'm a real estate professional. I serve buyer, seller, and investor clients in Northern Virginia and DC. In addition, I re-imagine tired homes to bring them back to life and maximize their full potential, in order to bless a new family. That's a warm way of saying: I flip houses. Why they chose this property

We took a trip to Whitetail in early 2022 to take our oldest daughter skiing for the first time. We chose Whitetail because it uniquely had homes at the resort that seemed relatively updated and walkable. While we had an amazing time renting a vacation rental during this stay, I knew we had discovered a place where we wanted to bring a world-class vacation rental - so more people could experience the GEM that is Whitetail and the homes at Whitetail. We spent 9 months searching for the perfect property and we finally found it!
