Greetings from sunny St. George! Those of you who have visited Southern Utah already know about the great weather, fantastic scenery and the endless variety of outdoor activities that are available. Those who haven't yet visited us have something really special awaiting them.
You will enjoy staying in my condo. It is located in Sports Village which is known for its spacious and beautiful grounds as well as its impressive variety of activities for all age groups. It features 680 SF of completely remodelled luxury (see pictures) that includes bamboo flooring throughout, stainless steel appliances, travertine tile in both the kitchen and bathroom, 40' Samsung 1080P TV, Roku Ultra streaming and Blu-Ray player in the living room, and much more. Outside the bedroom, there is a spacious 150 SF covered patio.
Most of us travel with one or more wireless devices these days, and my condo includes free broadband wireless service. I want my guests to feel confident and safe using this wireless, and accordingly, it is available only to my condo, it is not shared with anyone, and it includes WPA2 security.
Tennis enthusiasts won’t have to worry about rain-outs or settle for playing indoors. Excellent courts are available onsite. How about golf? There are more than a dozen courses in the area, and almost all are available to the public. The variety of the courses is both entertaining and challenging. Some of the courses are traditional links that are similar to those found in temperate climates while others are quite literally cut right into the desert.
Hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts will run out of energy before they run out of trails. Utah is fortunate to have 5 National Parks with abundant hiking trails and opportunity for exploration. Zion National Park is within 45 miles of St. George, and it is strikingly beautiful.
St. George is home to the thirteenth largest marathon in the United States. Runners World magazine has named the St. George Marathon as the best organized out of 319 marathons evaluated across the U.S. and Canada. Another headline event taking place in St. George is the Huntsman World Senior Games which draws participants from all over the world.
A local jewel is the Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheatre which is carved into the base of the red mountains of Ivins, Utah, just outside of St. George. Productions include both live theatre and concerts. Find out what's playing when you plan to visit by calling or visiting their website (see link at bottom of owner info).
