Ted, I’m sorry you had a such a bad stay. I wish you did communicate your concerns so I could address them and explain your concerns. The outlets you are referring to were never actually connected to the circuit breaker panel when my father built this home I am not sure why he never did but it is not a safety concern at all as it is not a live outlet. The ductless minisplit aka AC/heat pump is directly connected to a 15amp breaker in the electric panel located under the counter. This was installed by a professional and all done to code. I’m not sure why you think that a ductless minisplit can just be plugged into an outlet but they cannot be as that would be a fire hazard. As far as the smell of the water goes it is fully disclosed that there is sulfur water on the description which you could have read prior to booking. We have tried several filters and even put a new water heater in to help but the only thing we could use is a large water softener system that won’t fit in the pump house. We have had hundreds of guests safely use the solid white oak spiral staircase without any issue in the past. Either way there are pictures of the lofted bed and the spiral staircase In The listing. I don’t know if you didn’t look at the pictures or read the description but whenever I travel I make sure the home is suitable for my needs and wants prior to booking them. The French press provided works great for coffee. Again I wish you had addressed your concerns while you were here.
