Walk to Million Dollar Beach from this awesome Cottage!

Adirondack Nest is a cottage that is conveniently located just 1/2 mile from Million Dollar Beach. So close you can hear the music from the Minnie Ha Ha as it sails by! The village is 1 mile from the renovated cottage. Perfectly tranquil getaway spot for flexible work location.

You will feel like Adirondack Nest is your home away from home the minute you walk in. A great room with a vaulted ceiling offers a stone fireplace and has real Adirondack charm. There is a 55" tv with cable and internet included plus a window unit air conditioner. It has a full size sofa bed. One bedroom with a queen size bed is off the great room as is the full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs including dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender and mixer. Full size refrigerator and stove and a stackable washer and dryer. One bedroom with a queen bed and window unit air conditioner, one with bunk beds and a half bath are set off the kitchen.

There is also an enclosed front porch perfect for drinking your morning coffee, reading or playing board games. Out back is a covered screen porch which has a picnic table for enjoying your outdoor meals. The deck is where you can stretch out on a lounge chair and take in the fresh air. Plus grill a great dinner. Relax in an Adirondack chair while roasting marshmallows over a campfire on the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is set under the pines on a large lot with plenty of room for outdoor games and parking your boat.
Hiking and biking are just a few of the activities to enjoy in the area.

Located on the east side of the lake a short 5 minutes off I87 via exit 21.

A few steps to Usher park. Usher is a public park with a playground, tennis court, picnic pavilions and a beach.
An easy 1/2 mile walk to Million Dollar Beach which offers a public boat launch. If you are looking for amusement park rides Six Flags Great Escape is only 5.5 miles away! Plus there is outlet shopping and great dining nearby. Saratoga Springs is approximately 30 minutes south.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a morning run from the cottage to Lake George center for coffee, then an evening fire outside with dinner on the grill. The indoor fireplace was also a lovely! I highly recommend this cottage, you will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!

Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children.

It has been a dream of mine to own a place in Lake George for as long as I can remember. When I first saw the cottage it hadn't been shown any love in a very long time but I knew it had potential. After a lot of hard work, the charm of the 1936 cottage has been brought back. Now I'd like to share Adirondack Nest with others so they can experience the fun of "going to camp" and the unforgettable beauty of Lake George.

Why they chose this property

Lake George and the Adirondacks-a destination where people have come for generations to swim, boat, hike and admire the spectacular scenery. Adirondack Nest is perfectly located for vacationers to enjoy everything this area has to offer. Set under the pines on the east side of the lake just a short walk to Million Dollar Beach.
The cottage has an ideal layout with one queen bedroom and the full bath off the great room (which has a full size sofa bed). Plus there is another queen bedroom, a bunk bedroom and the 1/2 bath situated on the other side of the kitchen.
An enclosed porch and a screen porch plus a deck give everyone a place to spread out or come together.
Roast marshmallows and tell stories by the outdoor fireplace where there are 8 Adirondack chairs to seat everyone.
The yard is large enough for playing games, parking and to bring your boat.
We hope you love the warmth and charm of Adirondack Nest and the memories made here!
