Located on East Beach, our 2/2 gated Shipwatch condo is a short walking distance to many of the local St. Simon's spots and a quick drive to the Red Fern Village/Pier Village as well as many other local attractions. We very much enjoyed this condo. It was a quiet spot and convenient to everything we wanted to do on the island. It was a short walk through the property across a boardwalk and nice walking path to the beach. We didn’t take our dogs with us this time but probably would next time as they would have loved it too. The host answered our couple of questions timely and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We very much appreciated that this unit was pet friendly. Our doggies loved the short walk to the beach, which we did every day of our stay. Although we did not end up using the bikes provided by our hosts, we thought it was a great touch!

Shipwatch is ideal for an Earthday visit to the beach. Tucked in a quiet street between parks, with both a pool and a scenic path to the beach, this is an excellent island retreat.

We loved staying at this condo at Shipwatch condos. It’s the perfect location short walk to the beach and walkable to some restaurants and short bike ride to downtown. We loved having beach chairs available for us to use. The condo was clean and comfortable beds, just what we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. Would stay here again!

Perfect, exactly as listed and then some!

Small family of 3 adults plus pets for a long weekend, this property was exactly as described and exactly what we needed! Spotless, decor was lovely, the host super responsive. Conveniently located in a small, safe, gated community and though the walk to the beach was too far for us “old folks,” the drive to nearby public beach access was quick and painless. Slight mix up about the pet fee was handled promptly and professionally. We all enjoyed it and would love to stay here again. Book it, you won’t be sorry!!

A Relaxing Beach Getaway

This was our first time visiting St. Simons Island. The location of the property was great, the access to the beach was easy and the walk from the condo unit to the beach was not long. There was an elevator and luggage racks for use to bring luggage/supplies from the parking lot to the condo. It was very quiet and not many people on the beach. We were able to take advantage of covered parking under the unit. The pool was very nice and kept clean. There was a shower to wash off the sand from the beach before entering the pool area and condo units. We very much enjoyed our stay at the condo.
