Beautiful view Located literally on the water, beautiful sandy beach . Huge deck with plenty of seating .Peaceful neighborhood.The cottage kitchen is well stocked and exceptionally clean. Plenty of sleeping room for any size family whether it be for two or even eight.Everything exceptionally clean will taken care of , not to mention cutely decorated.The owners are very kind and responsive to any questions you may have. Their goal is to insure you truly enjoy your stay here and you will .

Loved it. Nice clean updated kitchen. Shower could stand to be updated . Was told there was a charcoal grill on sight, when I went to use it it was burned up and the legs were all broken .

Extended family getaway

We had a great stay at the little cabin. The beach and property were perfect for little kids and the neighbors were very nice. Definitely would stay again.

Cute cottage on the lake. Little store right down the street for things you may have forgotten or ice cream and drinks. The cottage had everything you needed. I did bring sheets for the modular couch in the living room (which as a family, was perfect for movies at night)! One thing to note, there is no shade on the deck or yard area so bring a beach umbrella or something if you want shade. Will rent again.

Being right on the beach was excellent. Plenty of beds. Wished there was a Keurig since we brought pods but overall a great time.

My little piece of paradise just a short trip away

Enjoyable stay

The property may look small, but there is everything you might need inside. Very well laid out and comfortable. Nice view of the lake, and within walking distance of restaurants and groceries.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The cottage was as described, clean and easy to access. We enjoyed having the beach right in the backyard along with some of the extras like the cornhole boards and paddle boat. Definitely would recommend!

I booked this property primarily for the little beach for my kids to play in. The water is currently so high that there’s no beach at all. Not anyone’s fault, of course, but updated pictures would give a more accurate idea of what the property actually is like currently.

Sand Lake cabin

Nice lake,mostly sand bottom. Cabin very well furnished, up dated,very nice. All outside amenities were available. Would rent again.

Slice of Heaven

They truly have thought out all the details. The convenience store down the road has wood, ice cream and more. The Sand Lake Bar GREAT pizza. We stayed and enjoyed the water, kayaks, row boat and peacefullness of the area. Absolutely recommend!

Nice Stay

This is a nice quiet cabin on the lake that is relaxing. The lake is quiet not a lot going. There is a restraint and a store just down the road. A nice short drive to Tawas City. They have a nice pet friendly beach on the bay side of Lake Huron.

Fantastic girls weekend

Had a fantastic time staying at the cabin. The cabin was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. Only a short walk to the local bar and party store. Use of kayaks, paddle boat and row boat made for lots of fun on the water. Nice deck with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Great Getaway

Super nice home steps away from the beautiful Sand Lake. My family of four had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed local golf courses, tubing down the Au Sable, 20 minute day trips to Tawas and of course the Tawas Point Lighthouse. The short walk to the party store and local Bar/Restaurant was a great plus (with fantastic food). Spent many lovely nights on the spacious deck with all amenities for outdoor fun provided by Michelle and Mike; they have thought of it all!

The hosts were fantastic! Great commutation prior to leaving for our trip to answer any questions we may have had and gave thorough instructions when arriving at the cabin. The property was better than they had described. It was clean, very well decorated and they were very accommodating to whatever it was we needed. Full kitchen with all utensils for cooking or grilling. A relaxing back deck on and so much more. It was a perfect trip for our family of four and our pup. We spent the days on the beach and in the water. Kayaking and going out on the row boat and fishing. We cooked or grilled almost every night. Had bonfires and made s’mores. There was great food near by as well. It was a short drive to Tawas city where we were able to explore the town and beaches and lighthouse. It was a wonderful trip and we made great memories. We will be back here!

SMALL SLICE OF HEAVEN

Absolutely loved this place!! The only downfall was that we were unaware they put ac in the week before we came, so the fans in our car took a lot of room. Water was clean, neighbors were friendly. They had books and board games too. They had more to offer than expected. I ever back.

Great getaway

The weekend was great. The boat ramp was a sourace of entertaiment as everyone was taking out there rafts. Very quiet and great weather. The lock on door was frustrating but got over it. Understand the ease of it. The guys loved the kayaks and used them everyday.
