Pet friendly listing! Proven & very popular beach rental in great central location on Dauphin Island. You'll love the open floor plan and the spacious front and back decks with views of the Gulf of Mexico. Large, just renovated and fully-stocked chefs kitchen, breakfast bar with stools, spacious dining and living area. Wi-fi & small desk work area in one bedroom. Area below house has a charcoal grill, outdoor hot/cold shower, fish cleaning station & plenty of covered parking. Only steps away to beach down private back easement through the sand or down the street to beach access.

This home's location is awesome being in the middle of the island and close to the island amenities. Dauphin Island is a small and peaceful island ( approximately 17 miles), a nature lovers paradise and a rare jewel these days. The island offers an old time beach feeling with a slow pace,quiet and uncrowded beaches and non-commercial feel. Great place to build quality memories and just relax and "Chill Out". The beach is dog friendly, offers beautiful soft white sand and plenty of space to set up and spend a relaxing day. The sunsets on Dauphin Island are absolutely amazing. There are times of year that you will feel that you have the beach all to yourself! Plenty to do if you get tired of the beach. There are bike paths and rentals, golf cart rentals, fishing charters, golf and a swimming pool at Isle of Dauphine Complex. For the kids there is a skate park, playground and mini golf. Plan a visit the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, historic Fort Gaines or the DI Sea Lab and Estuarium. Several cute local restaurants and a wonderful fish market.

Leave grill clean & empty. Return the key to the lockbox and ensure the beach wagon is secured.
Clean up after your pet in fenced area ( if applicable)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
People other than those in the guest party set forth above may NOT stay overnight on the property.
Pets must be housebroken, up to date on vaccines including rabies, on current flea treatment / crated if unsupervised. Must abide by local leash laws

Fantastic!

This property was gorgeous! Very clean, the porches were fantastic, and our pups loved the fences in back yard! The beach is a short walk away and you even have a small view of it from the back deck. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Chill Out. We have 2 setters, and the dog yard was perfect and low-stress. The dogs loved watching the birds. The kitchen is great, and the area is quiet and peaceful. It's an easy few steps to the beach. We can't wait to go back.

Great family stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beach house on Dauphin Island, and it was nothing short of amazing!The beach was just steps away with gulf views from the deck. The host provided everything we needed for the week besides the groceries. Dauphin Island is very dog friendly and the host made it so easy for us to bring our whole family. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations for things to do on the island. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return. I would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation.

Great rental in a great area

We were very pleased with our stay here. The owner had stellar communication and the property was great. We ended up having 9 adults, 2 kids and our senior dog. The island and rental were very dog friendly and the gate on the deck was super helpful. We loved the ocean views from the back deck and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve needed for cooking. We would recommend this rental to anyone but especially those traveling with families and/or dogs.

Everything was great, short walk to the beach. The only problem we had was locking the back door. Lock needs to be adjusted or replaced. It was a nice house and I would stay there again.

Everything was great overall! The home is very nice and a quick walk to the beach. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great for cooking. There are a few things that were not disclosed by the owners— there is a new home that was built so close to this property that you can almost reach out and touch it from the back deck. This home also blocks most of the view of the water. There are also cameras on the front and back porches. This was alarming to me and the other guests as we are mostly women who did not feel comfortable sunbathing while on camera. Legally, this has to be disclosed by owners and it was not. Aside from those two notes, I highly recommend this property and Dauphin Island in general!

The host was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and she had sweet rolls delivered to us for breakfast. The house was clean and had everything you would need for a fabulous vacation. You literally go out the door and take a few steps and you are at the beach. The decor is beautiful inside the home. Everything is labeled For you. She was a joy to work with!! Fantastic host.You will not be disappointed and I want to rent this place every year going forward.

Great place - so close to the beach! Make sure you bring groceries including coffee. We had a problem with coffee maker but was able to easily communicate with owner.
