Stainhatchee love

This is a beautiful little place. The air worked flawlessly with the hot Florida heat. The kitchen was well stocked, had enough towels and supplies and overall great stay! We’d love to stay again, only downside is we missed having a pool with the kiddos, but not properties fault.

Always fun in Steinhatchee

This property was clean and for a last minute booking the location wasn’t bad although it was not as the listing said. Per the VRBO listing, this property was supposed to be a 1 min walk to Sea Hag which sounded too good to be true,….and it was. It was however within walking distance to a restaurant.

Trip canceled due to Hurricane Idalia

Unfortunately, our trip was canceled by the owner/property manager due to Hurricane Idalia. I have no comment about the location or the property. The property manager was slow to respond to my questions prior to the storm and after (after is understandable). In the end, I was able to reach her (had to contact her through VRBO) in order to get a response/refund.

Place nicely redone but No WiFi

We had a nice stay, though this far from our favorite place to stay in Steinhatchee. It’s in a fairly quiet neighborhood close to Kathi’s Krab Shack, which we always enjoy. The gazebo is very nice in the evenings and the home is nicely redone inside. We didn’t use the hot tub as the water color looked a little off. The kitchen was a little sparse on cooking supplies and there was one “beach/boat” towel which was for a toddler. There is no WiFi which is not listed anywhere in the description so you don’t know this until you arrive. While it is great to disconnect on vacation we would have preferred knowing this upfront.
