Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Fruita when we started mountain biking here several years ago. We quickly learned that this area has so much more to offer than just biking (although the biking is AMAZING!) - the Colorado Nat'l Monument, Grand Mesa, the Colorado River, farmers markets, peaches, an amazing community of welcoming people and more. We bought this house in 2021 to have a more lasting foothold in the community. We love spending time here with our two sons and our dog, so we wanted to create a space that would make others with furry and non-furry family members feel comfortable as well. We hope you enjoy your time in Fruita!
What makes this property unique
Location + comfort!
This property is centrally located 7 minutes walk from downtown Fruita (Hot Tomato Pizza is what we consider the heart of the town :) and 1 block from the farmer's market. It is a short drive to world-class biking (18 Road and Kokopelli Trail), hiking (McInnis Canyon and much more), rafting (Ruby Horsethief canyon), and the natural beauty of the Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa and so much more.
The Grand Valley also features amazing wines, and foods as this is the breadbasket of Colorado. If you haven't tried Palisade Peaches yet, you are in for a treat!
The house itself is a gem that we have created with your comfort in mind. The beds all have high end Tuft and Needle mattresses and high thread count sheets, for a great night's sleep. The kitchen is stocked with thoughtful extras like a blender, champagne glasses, and kids' plates. And we've included thoughtful touches throughout, including original artwork, books, and suggestions on how to enjoy the best Fruita has to offer.
