Absolutely beautiful cabin in the most beautiful place. Great detail and care from the host, as well as comfortable beds and bedding, shower and laundry. Very clean and everything was easy to use and find. Good and kind communication as well. The property is very secluded and felt very private, but its worth mentioning the cabin is on the hosts property. Definitely 10/10 if we lived closer we would stay again!! We felt lucky to stay here. A highlight of our trip for sure!

This cabin could not have been any better. We already came into the area with deep, positive impressions, and this BEAUTIFUL cabin only made those impressions more real. The place feels like the perfect blend of modern convenience (perfect kitchen, beautiful bathrooms ((especially the walk-in shower with the rain showerhead feature!!!)), comfy bedding, what seemed like 700 channels on TV, excellent washer/dryer, tasteful decor, FAST WiFi), with all the benefits of being at the doorstep of the most beautiful place in the world: the Olympic National Forest!!! You can drive to Lake Quinault within 20 minutes, or even make the treak up to Ruby Beach in just an hour. Also, Hoqiaum/Aberdeen is just a quick skip away, or you can just head to the Humptulips Grocery to get gas, fishing supplies, food, etc. Probably the best part of this cabin is the fact that the Humptulips River runs through the backyard. We didn’t catch any trophy steelies or kings (I think the summer run was light this year), but at the right season, you can bet this will be the spot for some serious fish wranglin’. Book this place now!! What are you waiting for???

Thank you for the glowing review!!! We hope to rent to you and your family again. The river opens for salmon in mid-October. We will need a little rain to make it perfect. Curt and Tonya

Wonderful stay by the river

The property and cabin were amazing. The beds were great and we had some of the best sleep we have had in a while! My 7 and almost 2-year-old loved being at the river. My husband and son had a great time fishing and even caught a salmon! It was so peaceful and quiet and had everything you could need. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Great cabin!

6 of us spent a wonderful weekend at this secluded feeling cabin on the river. Beds were nice and firm with buttery soft linens. On demand hot water meant we never went without! River was a hit with the toddler! Close to a number of attractions in the area. Owners were easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful cabin

We stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It is beautiful. It has everything that you need for a relaxing get away. The owners reaponded immediately when we had a question and are very nice. The owners are accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable the back porch was definitely the best place to drink coffee in the morning. I highly recommended this rental and i plan to go back!

Understated

We fell in love with this cabin. It was perfect for lazy mornings and evenings while spending the day on the beach. The river is accessible via two trails and a meadow separates the cabin from the river. The cabin itself is luxurious. The details in designing and building it were impeccable and it felt like we were glamping. The hosts were incredible. We will definitely return!

Diamond in the rough!

This place was simply amazing! First and foremost, thank you to the owners for being so overly gracious! This cabin was in such an amazing location, we loved going down to the river, we loved sitting on the deck of the cabin, we loved the fireplace that was both inside & outside. I would 100% stay here again. If you are even remotely on the fence to reserve this place, book it!The cabin is warm & welcoming, it was so peaceful & quiet inside & outside. They had a fire pit prepared for us, different coffee choices.. just so thoughtful overall. Thanks for the amazing stay-I can tell the owners love and care for this cabin and are proud of it-and they should be! It was a blessing to us!

Little Slice of R&R Paradise

Fantastic experience. Stayed 4 nights. The cabin was extremely well thought out and designed quite nicely. Stream was easily accessible. Weather was AWESOME - I basically lived on the porch balcony for our entire stay. Hosts were very friendly and attentive to any questions. Although they live next to the cabin, it did not feel like we were being monitored. Would definitely go back. I think this is a fishing cabin when the season is right, but for me, it is a great place to relax and do some work while enjoying the outdoors. Possibly the most optimal location I've found for having morning coffee, answering emails, reviewing documents, etc. 5 stars!
