This 1892 charmer offers 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with over an acre of land and amazing outdoors space (TV, over sized deck, and rail road tracks!). In 2016 Sykesville was named The Coolest Small Town in America and now you get to experience all its "coolness". The farmhouse is located only steps away from the Main Street which hosts boutique shops, great restaurants, distillery, farm markets and trout fishing in Patapsco river.

Family Reunion

This was a perfect spot for those of our family from out of town to rent for a nearby Family Reunion.We all love to walk, so thoroughly enjoyed being able to nearby restaurants and shopping. Especially enjoyed the Farmers Market on Sunday morning.

Such a lovely old farmhouse!! There was a yard for our littles to run around and play horseshoes, enough seats on the porch for all 10 of us,. comfortable beds! Everything we needed. A very cozy stay. Costco and Walmart delivered groceries to this address which made things convenient. We enjoyed the upstairs piano and the desks for studying while we were traveling. Very family friendly!! The owner was responsive and kind.

Daughter's wedding weekend

We recently moved to NC from Sykesville and was very happy to find a rental for my daughter's wedding. Great local place in downtown. Cute, spacious home perfect for family and friends. We had a small snafu with a leaky toilet which the owner tried to get a plumber on a holiday weekend. No easy task, but he showed up and our celebration weekend was wonderful. I would stay here again. House has all you need for an extended stay in The Greatest Small Town!

Nice Stay

The home was very nice. We could not get the apple TV to work, but that may have been operator error. We were able to watch TV on my laptop. The manager was very responsive to any and all emails. The was a lovely quiet home.
