My Favorite Beach House was very spacious, quiet and clean. It was a short walk to the beach which is crowded on Saturdays but less busy the rest of the week. The house is well-stocked - lots of towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper. What was surprising, however, was the lack of hand or bar soap in the bathrooms which, in our experience, every VRBO we’ve stayed in supplied. We raised the concern with the property manager whose only reply was “we don’t supply hand soap”. Ok but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here last year in March. We reported then the walk-in shower did not work and had no hot water. When we arrived this year, we tried to use the shower and again it did not work and no hot water. Maintenance came out, checked it and decided it needed a new cartridge. Repairs were not completed while we were still there. Don't understand if problem reported it is not corrected in a year's time.

Not my favorite....

This was a last-minute trip and I rent houses in Jamaica Beach at least twice a month. This was a first and last for Crystal Beach. Cobb Real Estate is not a friendly or helpful establishment. I rented the house through VRBO, but for some reason you are routed through Cobb. I am used to linens being provided upon all of my stays in Jamaica Beach. Having to take all of your blankets, sheets, and towels was a bit of a nuisance. The house had a great layout and very large deck (with tons of seating) where you could see the beach from the distance. Overall the house was decent, but had ants galore inside of the home. It is a dog friendly home, but it had an odor upon arriving of pet urine. The living room was very inviting with tons of seating. Just be sure to bring some batteries for the remotes so they are operable. Typical beach house pots and pans ..where you have to eat the Teflon in whatever you make (glad I brought my own). I just think for the amount of money they are charging to rent this home ...towels, a bar of soap, a dish tab or two....wouldn't break the bank. I will definitely go back to Jamaica Beach for future trips...much more accommodating. Lastly the two King Beds are very firm and not what I am used to. Overall, great place if you you don't mind all of the little things that I did not care for. LOVED the layout!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family was exceptionally pleased with this house. The layout and design were exceptional. In the living areas, there was plenty of comfortable seating, the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and silverware, and the sleeping areas were comfortable and extremely quiet. The deck was huge and we enjoyed “hanging out” there. I highly recommend it.
