About this property

Lake Front House with Dock, Kayaks, and Boat Slip

Open concept living with beautiful main channel views includes two (2) primary bedrooms on main level and three (3) additional bedrooms downstairs. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. There's plenty of dining space to accommodate your whole group. Large screened porch with outdoor living and dining options. Relax under the covered patio downstairs, life is on lake time. Downstairs space is also great for kids or the young at heart with shuffleboard, foosball table, and an area for games and crafts. Utility room includes washer, dryer and extra storage space.
Dock provides plenty of space for relaxing, swimming, boating (one boat slip available), fishing, kayaking, and enjoying everything the lake has to offer.
Gated community with playground, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts.
Visit historic Albemarle or Mt Gilead with their restaurants or antique shops, just 10 minutes away. Or explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails in Uwharrie National Forest and Mount Morrow State Park.

IMPORTANT: From Oct 23 to Nov 10 Lake Tillery will be down 6 to 8 feet below it's normal levels. Duke Energy controls this process and the duration of the drawdown and the time required to refill the lake will depend on weather conditions and river inflows.

This home was the PERFECT lakeside retreat we were looking for! The house was well appointed and very clean. Plenty of extras were made available (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing, etc). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including a crockpot and waffle iron. Our favorite place was the screened in deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there and watched the ducks come and go. So peaceful! The dock has plenty of seating, the kayaks are easy to get to and use and there are plenty of fishing opportunities to be had. Joel and Jenn are very quick to respond to any questions you may have and truly enjoy opening their home to share with others. It's obvious in how they've taken care of their home and stocked it with extras like boardgames and game tables downstairs. We will definitely book again and cannot wait!

We used this property for a vacation with our adult children and their families. The location on the lake was ideal for swimming and kayaking for all ages. The boat dock was a nice place to hang out and was perfect for docking our own boat The house has separate entertainment areas suitable for different ages groups. We also used and enjoyed the nice fire pit. This place was ideal for our family!

A Wonderful experienceE

We stayed with our five children, 3 of their friends, my MIL-11 people in total. It was perfect. We had plenty of rooms and more than ample seating for dining and playing games/watching movies together. The screen porch and dock were spacious enough for all of us.
