We strongly disagree with this review. The claims are inaccurate. The home is professionally cleaned after every stay, with time-stamped photos and videos taken after cleaning to verify condition. We also have text message records with the guest. The alleged broken bed frame was not reported until the day before checkout, not at the time it supposedly occurred. Any issue should be reported immediately. If a guest is dissatisfied with cleanliness or encounters a problem, we are always available to resolve it promptly, including sending a re-cleaning team. No such request was made. Water temperature in the home and pool is mandatory to check and verified before every check-in.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations, and we’d like to clarify a few points for accuracy. Communication was never lacking during your stay. Our message records show that we responded to every concern within minutes, typically under two minutes, and took prompt action on all reported issues. The minor maintenance item you mentioned, the under-sink leak, was addressed immediately along with any other concerns brought to our attention. Regarding security, the community gate was temporarily under repair during your stay, which is why one entrance remained open. This was a community-wide situation outside of our control, and we communicated this accordingly. The property itself remains in a secure, gated resort community. As for the noise, Storey Lake Resort is a well-known vacation rental community, and all homes are short-term rentals. While noise rules are strictly enforced, guest behavior in neighboring properties is unfortunately beyond any individual host’s control. This is the first time since we began hosting in 2021 that such an incident has been reported. We immediately escalated the matter to the HOA and provided you with their contact information so a formal complaint could be filed. We also want to clarify that house instructions and guidelines are provided in the home and digitally. If anything was unclear, we were readily available to assist at any time. Regarding the internet, we were initially informed it was a broader service issue. Once it became clear it was isolated, a technician was dispatched and the issue was resolved as quickly as possible. We always aim to resolve concerns within 24 hours or less. We do apologize that these unfortunate and largely uncontrollable circumstances occurred during your stay. As you noted, some of these matters were not within our control. No vacation rental is ever completely perfect, but we consistently strive to respond quickly, maintain the home properly, and provide the best experience possible for our guests. We appreciate your feedback and will continue improving wherever possible.
