Pros: Great stay for groups - four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, big kitchen, big dining room and large living room (or front room). One of us needed to use a washer and dryer and was so glad the house had one of those too! The outdoor space and the skylight kitchen was a plus! You walk up to the property and wonder if you are in the right place - but you are. It's like you are going to find a hidden gem. House was a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station, a few grocery shops, pubs and restaurants (including a coffee shop with a very friendly Italian waiter) nearby. Note, some of the restaurants are closed in the middle of the day. Communicative hosts who live just a minute away from the VRBO. Cons: While big, the house felt like the hosts are skimping on things. These changes would make this a 5 star stay. The house was not as clean as we expected. Lots of hair and toothpaste stains in the bathrooms. Also, one (dingy) towel and no washcloths (washcloths may be a cultural thing) is provided for each guests. Not enough for a few nights and if anyone needs to wash their hair. There were no paper towels in the kitchen and no kitchen mats for the kitchen skin. Also, other kitchen basic items would have been great - sugar, honey, tea, coffee, etc. The house was bare.

We had a great long-term stay with our four kids at this property. Listing photos were accurate and the location was perfect! Amee was a good communicator and resolved any issues promptly. The kitchen appliances took some getting used to, but a quick Google search taught us what we needed to know about the microwave, double ovens, and fancy coffee maker. I agree with previous reviewers that it does get uncomfortably hot if you happen to visit during a summer heat wave, and it would be helpful if each bedroom had its own standing fan. All of the bedrooms open up to a balcony, so you need to sleep with the door open during the night to keep the temperature comfortable. There's another Vrbo next door so some nights could get noisy and/or smoky depending on the neighbors. We enjoyed the location which was within walking distance to Upper Street and there were many restaurants and convenience stores right next door. We recommend CoCoFee and Oi Vita Pizzeria. The property was easily accessible by several bus lines and you could get to King's Cross in under 30 minutes or many popular tourist destinations in less than an hour.Overall, we would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent House and Host

We really enjoyed staying in the multi-floor, family-friendly property. The house had great privacy and in a quiet part of London. It was great for sleeping with the windows open and enjoying the weather. The common area was comfortable and great for spending time together. The property was clean and modern.

It was clean, modern, roomy, comfortable, and a great location. Close to the overground train and right on a bus route. There were several small restaurants within feet of the house. I would stay there again. It was me, my husband and three twenty-somethings staying there...we all really liked it.

Amazing Place

This property exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room and clean as a whistle. The location is phenomenal. Walking distance to all kinds of eateries and sights. Everybody felt safe as the security is terrific. The owner, Amee, is a great communicator and easy to contact. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Property - Terrific Property Owner

Absolutely loved this property. It was spacious to house our family of 8 and very modern. Amee the property owner was extremely quick to answer us back with any questions we had. The property had some amazing smelling flowers too so every time we walked into the gate the beautiful smell of flowers welcomed us. Definitely recommend! Thank you for the amazing stay.

Good location, easy to get around. Very nice property, nice bedrooms and baths. Better instructions as to how to get to property would be required, as well as how to operate the 3 ovens and the coffee machine. Cleanliness in the kitchen was a bit lacking. Towels, dish towels, toilet paper supply could be imroved. Wifi good on ground floor, but did not work at all on upper floors.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent stay at our property. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated the location and found property to your liking. Regarding the directions to the property and the operation of the ovens and coffee machine we will certainly look to enhance the instructions we provide. We are also sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues in the kitchen and the supply of towels and toilet paper. We take cleanliness very seriously and will address these concerns with our cleaning team immediately to ensure they meet our high standards. Regarding Wi-Fi connectivity following your comments we have now added a booster on the middle floor so the signal on the upper floors is no longer an issue. Your comments are really helpful and help us improve our services. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide an even better experience.

London Headquarters

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay. The place is as advertised. Nice, large, easy in and out. Great set up for all to relax after all day touring and seeing the sights of London and environs. We didn’t use the kitchen much so can’t comment and the coffee maker was a little too complicated for drip coffee drinkers from the U.S. Floras Cafe just 3 minutes away was the perfect spot for morning lattes and oat flat whites to go. We had a little trouble with hot water in the shower of the top floor master bathroom but days were hot during our stay so temperature of the water didn’t matter much. Temperature in the other three bathrooms was fine. We could have used more towels although the place comes with a washer/dryer. We ran hard all over London, long days, including experiencing all day at Wimbledon using The Queue for admission. None of us felt like washing clothes at night. Amee was a wonderful host!

Not Luxury

The best thing about this property was its location. Many good restaurants and small grocery stores were in walking distance. The property was very spacious both indoors and out. It was a very safe and secure property. The host was quick to communicate. Our group consisted of 3 couples staying 1 week at the property. One couple is a host for both Airbnb & VRBO properties; they along with the other 2 couples have a certain expectation for a property that is advertised as “luxury”. The amenities for this property were lacking: zero or few essentials i.e. salt & pepper, water glasses, dish cloth to wipe kitchen counters, laundry soap, paper products (one roll of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels), hairdryer in only 1 bathroom. We would be OK with these things had we known about the ahead of time; we had to do a lot of the supplemental shopping taking away our vacation time. We could have weighed the inconvenience against the cost of the property.Cleanliness in areas was questionable (wet & dirty towels in one of the kitchen cabinets). The days were extremely hot with only one standing fan in the house. Two of the bedrooms had desk size fans which did nothing to cool. Parking is not available on site, so if you need to park a car, be very specific of your needs to the host so he can work it out in advance.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the location, spaciousness, and felt secure during your stay. It’s also great to hear our responsiveness met your expectations, as we aim to provide timely support at all times. We’re sorry to hear some aspects didn’t meet your expectations. While we try to ensure the property is stocked with essentials, we understand this fell short for your group and appreciate you highlighting it. We’ll be reviewing our processes with our cleaning team and always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can assist promptly and deliver anything that may have been missed. We’re also looking into ways to improve cooling options for the rare super hot days in London and will continue to enhance the experience for future guests. In the past guests have been satisfied with a fan in each room. Re parking, to clarify parking is available right outside the property but I do need at least 15 minutes ahead of arrival so I can arrange parking permits. Thank you again for your helpful comments.
