During the day, walk out the door and down on the bank to cast your line into what is known among avid steelhead fishermen as one of the best spots on the river! Skiing, snowboarding and the like can be found at The Summit of Stevens Pass. Hit the trail and marvel at the breathtaking Lake Serene or hike through nearby Wallace Falls State Park to hear the roar of its majestic 265-foot cascading waterfall. Thrill seekers will enjoy climbing the rocky face of Mt. Index, or rafting the rapids of our very own Skykomish River. For a beautiful drive and unique experience, head to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth for a day. If you fancy wine, enjoy an afternoon in Woodinville Wine Country to see and taste an array from over 75 wineries, both large and small.

Enjoy quiet moments with a good book in a uniquely hand carved rocking chair overlooking the river and mountain range. Gather round the dining table for an afternoon puzzle or laugh-out-loud evening of board games. Gaze at the stars while toasting marshmallows and telling stories around the riverside firepit. Lay quietly at night and be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the rushing river. Our lodge is accommodating and friendly to kids, senior-citizens and everyone in between! Beautiful lodge and location! Perfect for our spiritual retreat.

  • 5 of 5

Brian and Nicole's lodge is gorgeous, and they are a joy to communicate with. The kitchen and backyard were stocked with all the supplies we needed, and there were more than enough towels and bedding for all our guests. The location is also a plus, right on the river and near the best hikes.Thank you so much for letting us stay here; it was a wonderful experience, and our kids are already talking about going back!

Amazing house with amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

My now-husband and I rented this place to stay here the day before our wedding and the night of our wedding since we were getting married in a neighboring town and the pictures and online description just do not do this place Justice!! We spend a lot of time up in the mountains and in these Woods out here but this house pretty much captures everything you would want in a Mountain Lodge and it's so close to town it is super convenient! It truly feels like home and if so relaxing! It was so nice relaxing here the day before wedding and the night of our wedding! We are truly Pacific Northwest people and this is probably one of the best vrbo's we have ever rented, and we have rented quite a few! I highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway in the mountains or even a Family Getaway because there is tons and tons of room!

Outstanding family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

All of the previous views are accurate! We had a fabulous time. Six adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 2 to 9 with plenty of private space for everyone. As for the host...just the best. Very available with a genuine focus ito please the guests. We had unusual hot weather and Nicole provided fans (thank you)! The setting is amazing and the lodge has everything. We had no problem with the parking or speed bumps. Thank you for a great family vacation.

Fantastic location for a family reunion

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely place for our annual family reunion (5 adults and 5 children 12 and under.). The house is spacious and has all the amenities needed for eating in and having family fun. WIthin a short drive there are many lovely hikes and we even got to take the children blueberry picking, The river and mountain views are breathtaking.

Exceeded expectations

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 13 - 7 of them small children and this was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the scenery. We took some small trips to local hikes, but could have easily entertained ourselves the whole time at the cabin. The river can be accessed from a path that leads down from the fire pit, and the kids had a great time playing on a small sand beach a few hundred yards down river. We saw bald eagles and the kids even saw one snacking on a salmon on a river rock! The view from the cabin was absolutely amazing no matter what room you were in. Nicole was great to work with and we have no complaints! Would definitely consider renting this cabin again! Thanks Nicole!

Extremely nice lodge and outdoor spaces - exceeded our expectations. Lodge was very well equipped.

  • 5 of 5

Nicole was flexible and informative. The lodge was very clean and everything we could have possibly needed was provided at the site. The view was stunning. The only downsides were the limited parking (which was made very clear to us in advance) and the dreaded speed bumps we had to navigate every time we left the lodge. Neither of these would be a deterrent for us to rent the lodge again. My sister paid a similar amount for a house near Baring that didn't hold a candle to this home. I highly recommend this rental!
