We were hesitant to book this place because the home is new to VRBO and had no reviews; however, it looked so lovely that we took a chance. Man, are we glad we did! It is truly the nicest home we've ever booked with VRBO. It is beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable, and with a lake and a dock in your backyard. The owners were gracious and quick to communicate and provided extras that are not usually included for renters - board games, beach towels, kayaks, welcome basket, wood for the firepit, charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, grill cooking utensils, and S'mores ingredients, and more. We had one incident that was not the owner's fault, and they answered immediately when i reached out and came over to resolve the issue. Our entire family (young and old) had an amazing time. We loved playing ping pong, the lakeside activities (fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding), and relaxing on the outdoor areas (multiple). We will book this home again.

Thank you for your kind words! We are so happy that you spent your holiday with us, and we look forward to hosting you again.
The host was very accommodating and even packed an awesome snack basket for us an a welcome! They had most things needed for showers and also cooking outside of an electric griddle or waffle maker. They had forgotten the trash container for household trash but brought them the next day once we texted. Amazing sunset at the dock each evening. No space on the dock to gather or relax in the sun because the top deck is closed off. Would have given a 5 star review but the mattresses were extremely firm and uncomfortable. We had very long days (we stayed for our national softball tournament) at the ballfield and our girls were exhausted each day but couldn’t get great rest due to the firmness of the beds. All in all we would stay again but would need a thick padded mattress topper, especially for the king bed upstairs and twin bunks downstairs.

Amber, Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed your welcome basket, and we were happy to bring out an extra trash can. I’m sorry the beds were not to your liking. As a host, it is difficult to accommodate guest’s preferences as mattress firmness is such a personal preference, but I do appreciate your suggestions. Unfortunately we are required by the Army Corps of Engineers to keep the top part of the dock closed off for safety reasons, but I’m glad you guys enjoyed some wonderful sunsets! We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your visit to TN, and best of luck to your softball team in the future.
