Nashville Old Hickory Lake Home

This house is a 3300-square-foot, two-story home that was completed in July 2017. It has a lot of space, including the bedrooms, each of which has a large walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with a tub. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a large walk-in shower, dual sinks, a toilet bidet, walk-in closet, TV, and king-size bed. The house has two decks, an upper deck with no roof for sunbathing or just relaxing, and a middle deck off the living area with a spiral staircase down to the ground. The house is called Two Foot because of its location near the unofficial recreation area called Two Foot, which has been a popular spot for 25 years or more. Boats anchor there so that people can walk around in the shallow water. Usually there are about 50 to 100 boats there on any given weekend. The property is a couple of doors down from one of the most famous country music entertainers in the world. You might see her, but please do not approach her.
This vacation home is located on the waterfront of Old Hickory Lake in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Nearby attractions include the Nashville Zoo, Opryland Hotel Gardens, and Nashville Shores Waterpark. If you're looking for some outdoor activities, try fishing, swimming, boating, or hiking in the surrounding area. You can also enjoy the many amenities of the lake, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing. The home also has a large deck with a covered patio and gas grill that overlooks the lake. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset over the water. Please leave your coolers out on the deck and not in the house. Also, please note that this home can accommodate up to 8 people, including children and infants. If you have more than 8 people in your party, you will be charged an additional $250 per person per night.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure the grill is turned off

Stay on the right side of the dock where the jetskis are docked, left side belongs to my neighbor. Please keep noise to a minimum. Houses are close.
Upon leaving, please load and start the dishwasher if there are any dirty dishes, leave the key on kitchen coun.

Lake House Family Vacation

Beautiful family friendly lake front home

This is an incredible house right on the lake that made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in! The host, Ronnie, went out of his way to make sure everything was excellent and does a phenomenal job caring for the home / property. Would highly recommend this location to other families looking for a special stay that is perfect for building memories while enjoying all that Nashville has to offer.

Ronnie was an exceptional host! The rooms and closets were so spacious and the living area and outdoor decks were so comfy. The home is well stocked with appliances and some basics, which is always such a treat. 2 Foot Cove is a little loud on the weekends, but from inside you can barely hear it. So nice to be able to put our kayaks right in the water every morning. Any small request or message we sent to Ronnie was promptly and kindly answered. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer house or a better host!

Perfect place to have a family vacation on the lake

From the check in process to the check out, the stay was very easy. Communication with the home owner was great and easy. The house was well kept and pretty clean! Access to the lake was great and the property was well managed.

Great time on the lake

My family had a wonderful time staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the location and everything inside and outside. It was great to sit on the porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the sounds of nature. Ronnie was great to have as a host and made the entire experience very easy.

This house has it all. Great spot on lake. Equip with paddle boards, fishing poles, and canoe. House is spacious and clean. Ronnie was totally the best to work with and so accommodating.

Old Hickory Lake

This house was as advertised and really great. The Property manager was responsive the one time I needed assistance and the property was clean. We enjoyed time on the lake,and rented boats at the local marina. The neighborhood was nice and all of the amenities we needed were available at the house. Great stay!

Great House on 2 Feet

Excellent rental. Daily party on the lake just off shore. The weekend was nuts because we were there for Memorial Day weekend. Lots of opportunities for mingling.

Amazing house in a great location!

There were no negatives from our weekend. The house is updated from top to bottom. The location is great and easy to access the marina. It was very easy to park our boat and trailer and the owner was very accessible and willing to help in any way. We will definitely be coming back!

One of the best family vacations we have ever had! This home looks beautiful in the pictures but when you get here you will not want to leave. We cooked almost every meal and had everything we needed. This home is beautiful and immaculate like a 5 star resort in every way! The lake views are outstanding. Ronnie was a pleasure to work with. Hard-to-Please-Travel Family that was 100% Satisfied!

The house is really fantastic. Everything was so well organized with wonderful modern amenities. The porches and balconies offer great views of the lake for relaxing, and the interior of the house is so quiet and amazing. Ronnie is a great owner who responded within 5 minutes to all of our inquiries. An easy 25 minute drive into downtown Nashville, but a world away from all the noise and chaos of Broadway street.

Perfect Get-Away!

This house was perfect for weekend trip to the lake! The house is beautifully decorated, extremely spacious and well stocked with amenities...you won't want to leave! We kept our boat at the dock all weekend and the area was safe. We had a blast at 2Foot with our friends and will definitely be returning! The owner is very accommodating and responsive to questions. Perfect Family Vacation

This was a perfect house for a short getaway! Ronnie was great to work with and always responded right away whenever we had any questions. We had so much fun using his paddle boards and swimming off the dock. We rented a boat for a couple days and he allowed us to dock the boat at the house. He really does go above and beyond what is expected of an owner. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

Perfect for fall break for my family.

My husband and 2 teenage girls were looking for a quite get-away, And we found it at Ole Hickory Lake! The home is comfortable, well furnished, great location, and a beautiful sunset view from the deck. The home is spacious, with large bedrooms, main living and kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and luxurious. Linens and bedding all “like new” , we felt like we were staying in nice hotel! We rented a boat from Blue Turtle Marina, about a 15 min drive from the house. Blue Turtle has a great restaurant/sports bar. The homeowner was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definately stay there again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a magnificent experience at this absolutely perfect lake home! From the moment we arrived until we closed the door to head home, everything was simply amazing. We spent quiet mornings and cocktail hours on the incredible deck overlooking a most gorgeous shoreline. The layout of the great room with kitchen made for memorable family meals and cooking together, and the host was so incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Although the rains and cool temperatures kept us from going out on the water, it was clear that their lake access is top notch and perfect for warmer weather adventures. This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Many thanks to Ronnie and his family for providing the backdrop for our perfect family getaway.

Semi retired car dealer who loves this old lake. I, along with my son have been coming here on weekends for many, many years. My wife and I live on an 83 acre farm about 30 miles from the lake house. We have cows, horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, etc. Several of our animals are rescues from different situation, even the ducks and chickens :) I don't know how many barn cats we have, they are everywhere :) We have 3 dogs, all rescued Pitbulls, Bruce, Stella and Zoey. They are our kids :) The lake house is my weekend retreat in the summer time. My wife works and has to stay at our home in Nolensville, Tn to take care of the critters.
I have a small apartment downstairs at the lake house in which I do stay some weekends when I'm not drag racing around the East Coast.

Why they chose this property

It was handed down by family, one of the nicest properties on the lake because it is fairly large and level lot next to the lake, Perfect for pitching ball, volleyball, badminton, etc.

The backyard lake is a weekend gathering spot for local boaters we call 2 Foot, that's where the house name came from.

What makes this property unique

This property is probably one of the best locations on Old Hickory Lake, we have the large flat area for volley ball, bad mitten, etc The back yard is one big party on the weekends as it is known as Two Foot, an un-official water recreation spot. It is pretty noisy on Saturday and Sundays during the summer months, nothing much I can do about it. Most guest love to people or boat watch. You can take the paddle boards or canoe out and just mingle with all the boaters or jump in for a game of water volley ball.
