Tuscan River Retreat with Scenic River Views

We welcome you to stay at the Tuscan River Retreat featuring 2 bedrooms with Queen Beds and one full bathroom with spacious shower and marble heated floors. Whether you're relaxing in the high ceiling living room in front of the gas log fireplace or sipping your coffee on the covered front porch, your eyes will find 180 degree views of the Susquehanna River. Freshly remodeled in 2023 our river cottage is purely desired by all. The location is centered between York and Lancaster. Our guests enjoy the local restaurants, breweries, antiquing, kayaking, and hiking the many nearby trails. Come, stay and enjoy modern amenities with a traditional flair!

Great place

We dropped our kids off at an overnight soccer camp and stayed a couple days here. Very cute place. Nice views of the river. Quiet area. Place was as described, well stocked, and clean.

We rented for 3 weeks so my daughter could start school and we waited to close on our new home! The house and area was lovely! Lots of wildlife, beautiful sunrises and sunsets! House is quaint and easy! Highly recommend!

The Tuscan cottage was absolutely beautiful. Josh and Nicole have created a tranquil and cozy atmosphere with this amazing Tuscan decor. For me it was very reminiscent of my many years in Italy at my grandparents villa. My husband and I wanted a few days of peace and quiet and this delivered. Everything we could possibly need from the kitchen, fluffy towels and comfortable bed was at our disposal. Beautiful home and great views by thoughtful hosts. We can't wait to come back!

Great stay

Very nice remodel of an older property. The bathroom with heated marble floors was a nice touch. Relatively short 45 minute drive thru scenic 2 lane road to Hershey. Close to other attractions. Would recommend to others .

Absolutely Amazing

A lot of thought was put into the details of this home. The views are breathtaking; the house is magnificent. Josh is incredibly responsive and strives to make your stay perfect. I appreciate him allowing us to stay there. We will be back.

Amazing getaway!

We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return! The incredible views from the huge covered front porch are worth the stay alone, but there are so many more great things about this home. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with cooking supplies, the bedrooms were cozy, and the bathroom was incredibly nice (heated floors!). The host was very quick to respond to some questions I had prior to booking, and even made sure there were gates installed on the front porch so our dog could hang out with us there without concern. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Amazing River Front Stay

Our trip was truly magical. We stayed here the weekend of our wedding and it was perfect! It was only 15 minutes from the venue and so private and perfect for my Husband and I. The place inside makes you feel like you are in a Tuscan getaway then you walk outside to see a wrap around porch with a view of the river. The place was very clean and well maintained. The host was extremely responsive and wonderful to coordinate with. I would absolutely recommend staying at this home or honestly any home of this host. My husband and I will book another trip in the future!

Wonderfully relaxing property

Property was as or better than advertised. Josh was extremely responsive to all of our questions (no issues just questions). Location was wonderful and quiet. Enjoyed morning and evening sitting on the front porch watching the activity on the river and the local eagle pair. Had a gathering of friends for a small get together and the side patio with fire pit made that very easy to entertain. We would definitely stay on this property again in our trips to PA for visits. Paradise!

I was looking for a romantic getaway for my hubby and I and all I can say is WOW, did I find it! We relaxed under a blanket on the oversized porch and drank our morning coffee while overlooking the endless river views. The house literally looks like an Italian villa. My favorites were the castle-like doors and heated marble floor in the bathroom! Josh was a great host and we appreciated the goodies he left for us. We will be back!!
