Very friendly host, super cute and safe area to walk our dogs. We were from out of townand were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating this place was.

Decor and amenities were good. Carpet, fixtures and bed all seemed new. The walls were a little thin (sounds carried easily) but everything else was great. Unit even had a dishwasher and stovetop.

As it was more than reasonably priced, didn’t expect the world. But, ripped office chair, broken sink in bath, no full sized towels, kitchen a little beat. All I needed was some good sleep, and a shower. Awoke to find that my shower did not work. Kind of ruined the visit. Mentioned to the desk staff as I was checking out, and she said she’d mention to maintenance. Place was clean.

We were only going to be in town for one night but we didn’t want to stay at a hotel or motel. This room was perfect! Clean and comfortable

Funky smells

Room was as pictured, although pics were highlighted and filtered. Entire location smelled of old cigarettes. It IS pet friendly, lots of room to walk your dogs- but they hit me with another 100$ pet fee at check in that I thought was included in my booking. Could not be better located as we needed a close place to stay from the university. No pool or restaurant as pictured on website.

Help US Please

WE were given the wrong place we were going. The lady on Vrbo who set all this up had no clue where she was and had no clue where Harris Valley River Casino in Murphy NC and she told us this was 5.2 miles from your motel. . We are asking you please not to charge our credit card because we were told wrong.

Misleading Vrbo

The staff was very nice- kind and professional. Treats for the dogs upon arrival! The bed was comfy. The water pressure was good. The kitchenette was nice. Location made me uncomfortable. Lots of activity in the parking lot throughout the night- cars sitting in idle with men just sitting there….all evening. That made me nervous…. Dogs must be in a crate if you leave the room without them, which is not mentioned in the listing. My window wouldn’t lock and I was on the ground floor. A very nice employee came and put a window stop/block on it- but I didn’t sleep a wink. Vrbo gives this spot a different vibe than what is actually available.

Terrible and misleading

This property makes you believe via the VRBO listing that it’s a condo property or that it’s highly popular. Now that I know the location … they list it here bc of their traffic flow… you wouldn’t know it’s there otherwise. This place was so dirty all the way down to the elevator. It reeked of pot which is nothing I am against, but don’t particularly want to not be able to choose that smell. The staff was rude and made the check-in process awful with the taking a card when it was prepaid. Really not impressed.

Disappointed

When looking for accommodations that accepted pets, this location was rated fairly high through VRBO. However when we arrived, it was clearly misleading. The entire building needs a major overhaul. The entrance and lobby was dated, dirty, and drab. The front desk personnel were nice and welcoming but the floors and carpets were shabby and dingy. Walking the halls smelled of cigarettes, cleaner, and weed, despite the no smoking signs throughout the facility. The only thing I can say was our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room could’ve been better with paint and updating. Sonesta suites needs to do better.

Didn’t meet expectations from photos

Front desk was semi friendly. The whole floor had a strange odor. The tile in shower were missing in our room. The stairway trash took was over filled and took well over 24hrs to get it taken out. Had a few ants in the room. We did book trough a 3rd party( Verbo). First time having to pay to park at a place we paid to stay out. Cleanliness did not meet the expectations from photos. Also offered free laundry. The laundry room looked liked it was being used for hotel bedding well it was placed on top of the washer machine but also the free were marked out of order. Yes I understand things go out of order. My thing this the two machines that were working was on hold from what looked like the hotel bedding. There were two you could pay at. Thought hotels had separate machines from theres and guests. We only stayed 3 nights. We highly considered looking at another place we would loose the two deposits we paid. The beds were clean or else we would of cut our loses.
