Home with lap pool, hot tub, and wonderful views

Welcome to our house! This is home when we're not in town. Please treat our home as nicely as you would your own, bring a book, and enjoy your stay.

All furniture in the house today is brand new. Please do expect the kitchen cabinets and house to be (neatly) fully furnished. Please note we live in the house in the winter months.


House Info:

Lap Pool - Pool is serviced every Monday, Water temp is ~50 degrees right now. Your choice to go in. ~3 Feet Deep. Pool interior and exterior deck was recently renovated. Tanning ledge is tiled and please do not run as it could be slippery. Please be careful on the in-pool loungers as well.

Pool Heater - Pool can be heated for additional $700 per stay of 3 nights. We need 2 days notice to start the heating process. Pool can be heated up to 90 degrees.

Hot Tub / Spa - Can be operated once a day for 3 hours (complimentary) by request or daily schedule. We can heat longer for additional $45 per hour. We need 2 hours notice to start the heating process. Hot Tub can be heated up to 102 degrees.

Indoor Fireplace - Can be operated once a day for 2 hours (maximum).

Outdoor Fire Pit / Bonfire - We have 1 solo stove for bonfire purposes. Please remember to pickup (small) logs.

LG Washer & Dryer - Can only be operated once for 1 load of washer and dryer during your 5 day stay. Additional fee of $50 per load will be applied after first use.

Sonos Sound System - Outdoor & Indoor Speaker System. Please use AirPlay to look for various speakers.

The Smart TV (s) does not have cable or an antenna, it is used for online streaming. To watch your personal online streaming apps, just sign into any of your personal accounts (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, news channels, etc.). Be sure to sign-out when you leave!

All beds are memory foam mattress.

West Wing South Bedroom is our favorite room of the house. Please note mini split/AC or heater would not cool/heat as quickly because the room is perfectly situated on the south and west side. It requires patient and it might be loud at night if that’s a bother, please be aware.

West Wing Bathroom could take 10 mins of running time for water to heat. New electric water heater is quite fancy but not so quick, unfortunately.

Humidifier - House is equipped with whole house humidifier to ease indoor dry air in the winters. It's set at 45% indoor humidity. Portable humidifier are also available for spring/summer days. We're from Chicago and living in dry air is still a big transition.

Sleep Sound Machine - We have 1 sound machine and ear plugs available if needed.
