This property was pristine and private, with an excellent view. We visited Charleviox & Petosky, which were very close.Kathy offers a wonderful lodging option that was perfect for our 5 day trip. Her place was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Kathy was very responsive to our messages.We would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time at the Lake Susan, VRBO. Kathy was great to work with. She supplied everything you can possibly need to make your visit comfortable. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is a place to stay. There are many things to do and see in Charlevoix and Petoskey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Susan. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in the yard by the lake listening to the wonderfully quiet sounds of nature. It was great having a garage for the car. Inside...the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The proximity to local attractions, wineries, and wonderful small towns was excellent. Thank you, Kathy, for a great stay!

We truly couldn’t have had a better time than we did at Kathy’s while in town visiting. The cabin was so relaxing. We had a fire one night and took the canoe out fishing. The lake is so incredibly peaceful and we managed to see and hear the loons as well. Charlevoix was only 10 mins and Petoskey about 20. Truly the most charming cabin. If you’re looking to book something quiet and relaxing, this is your place!

Ideal place to stay on a quiet lake. A short drive to town and everything you need. The house was in great shape and was well taken care of. We enjoyed relaxing by the lake in the sun. Overall, a great place to enjoy Northern Michigan!

Kathy's house is a lovely, clean place that was exactly as described. The view out back of the lake is outstanding, and if we'd had more time we would have used the boat or kayak. The most impressive part of the rental was Kathy herself. When we arrived, there was an issue with the internet. We called her, and she came over within 10 minutes, drove to the Spectrum store to exchange hardware, and checked in multiple times to be sure that everything worked. It's also only 10-12 minutes into Charlevoix for food, etc.

We had an excellent time at this property. Very clean and cozy. Good view from the back, perfect for morning coffee or evening drink on the deck. Only about 8 minutes from downtown Charlevoix. Pet friendly made the stay even better. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was a perfect place for our family. We just had one night stopover from the UP to Traverse City, but wished we could stay longer. The outdoor dining area was beautiful. We even took out the Canoe for a quick ride. The best part besides the beautiful lakeside location was that everything was so well stocked! Cooking, laundry, etc.. was just like at home. It is a drive from charlevoix, but seems like a great deal to be in such close proximity. We would stay here again.

The home was clean and had a nice outdoor space next to the lake. There are kayaks and a row boat for guests to use but we opted not to due to them being full of bugs. A positive is It was close to everything we wanted to explore so we spent a lot of time away from house exploring. There are some downsides to this property though, there is no central air conditioning and it was warm during our stay. The property is shaded so that helps some and there is a portable air unit in the living room that keeps the front living space cool as well as floor fans in all the bedrooms. It was still a challenge to sleep at night due to being hot and beds were not comfortable to us.It is a good property for the space and price
