Relax with the family at this peaceful, pet friendly mountain home. Enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, telescope or grill a meal on the deck surrounded by an acre of trees. Fast fiber internet is available for work or streaming movies. Play our new Ms. Pac-Man game that also has DigDug, Super Pac-Man & more! Guests enjoy access to the Angel Fire greenbelt trail system for endless hiking and biking opportunities. This home is also a short distance to Monte Verde Lake for boating and fishing (1 Mile), the golf course (1.4 Miles) and the ski/bike mountain resort (3.7 Miles)!

This cabin includes a deck meant for enjoying the outdoors. Guests enjoy the entire home on an acre lot with private access to the new cedar, Nordic hot tub, propane grill and fire pit. Wildlife is seen regularly from the property. The home includes and open floor plan with panoramic views of the landscape. The home can comfortably host a maximum of 8 people with indoor/outdoor dining, 3 smart televisions, high speed fiber internet, two dedicated work spaces, 2 bedrooms downstairs with king beds and an upstairs bunk room that sleeps 5 (2 bunks: twin/twin, twin/full). Please note: 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive may be needed in winter months, and is highly recommended.

Rooms were clean, set up for anything you need, games for kids, and nearby fishing was great. Hosts were very generous and welcoming with the set up. Neighborhood was quiet. Panoramic view to watch the wildlife. We had a great time and would love to return here again.

Everything was just right for our girls weekend away. Lots of amenities! The hot tub was wonderful and the hosts were amazing. We had the wrong code at first but with one phone call it was quickly resolved and when we returned from our first outing on day two there were cupcakes waiting for us which was an extra sweet surprise. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Angel Fire! The place was clean and so comfortable, with wraparound bay windows that gave us incredible views of the mountains and surrounding wildlife. It was the perfect mix of private and peaceful while still being close to all the activities in town.The hot tub was absolutely amazing after a day of exploring, and our dogs loved having space to roam—it’s truly a great spot for pets. The host made everything even better with excellent communication and was both super friendly and extremely helpful.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Angel Fire!

Awesome stay, fantastic hosts!

Wonderful cabin, wonderful location in Angel Fire! Hosts proactively reached out upon booking and again days before our trip, making for a seamless arrival and check-in. Peacefully tucked away in the forest and the location near Monte Verde lake was perfect for family fishing & fun. Our first morning, we had three beautiful black tail deer greet us outside the living room windows. The house was well stocked from the kitchen & bath basics to plenty of games for the kids. Highly recommend!!!

This is delightful cabin in the woods! Every part of the stay was exactly as listed and we had a wonderful time!! The cabin was impeccably clean and ready when we arrived. Self Check worked seamlessly. Kitchen was easy to use and in good conditions. Hot tub was clean and in great shape! The kids loved the Ms Pac Man machine.

Rest at Osito

Very cute mountain home with an awesome outside deck. Morning coffee with the hummingbirds is always great. The location is perfect, halfway between Angel Fire Resort golf course and Lake Monte Verde. We can’t wait to come back.

Spring Break

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was stocked with games and puzzles for the kids to enjoy. We also really loved the wood-burning fireplace and got to enjoy some snowfall which was magical! Overall, we agreed that we would visit again and really enjoyed the cabin. Great cabin

This cabin was very well appointed with all the amenities anyone could need. It is a nice mixture between older cabin and updated modern which i thought was pretty cool. The big windows in the living and kitchen area are great for checking out all the deer visitors in the morning. The deck and hot tub were great. We are looking forward to checking this out again in the winter time!

Perfect Getaway

Great scenic drive in through Angel Fire to the cabin. The snow scene was picture perfect from the oversized windows of the cabin. We were setup with all the necessary amenities to keep cozy warm, bellies full and drinks hot/cold.No matter how cold, get your hot tub experience. Two thumbs up.The Mon Chateau and Pendleton blankets made this experience as luxe as possible. Ready for a summer stay!

Our stay was enjoyable and brief. The cabin did not appear to be well-maintained. There were cobwebs in the corners of our bedroom, and projects around the cabin were not finished properly, which was disturbing to us, as we own rental property and strive for high standards in our homes. The yard was also overgrown, a common issue for many of the houses in the neighborhood. Maybe that's not a priority in this area. The hosts were easy to communicate with; that's a plus.

Amazing home for families!

Our stay in Angel Fire was absolutely incredible! The home was beautiful—cozy, well-appointed, and perfectly located for a peaceful mountain getaway. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, allowing us to settle in and enjoy our time without any hassle.Our family, including our pup, absolutely adored this home! The space was welcoming and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities we could ask for. Whether we were relaxing by the fireplace, enjoying the hot tub, or exploring the nearby trails, every moment was perfect. 60th birthday trip

We came out because I love this part of New Mexico. I got to use my 60th birthday to bring all 4 of us. The cabin and location was perfect, a very short distance to the lake and golf course. Very nice hiking/leisurely stroll throughout the area. We spent all of our days out and about. The cabin was a great place to come home too. This summer was unusually warm but it still cooled down to needing a blanket in the morning. We will definitely be back.

El Osito Cabin guests enjoy the privacy and enjoyment of a mountain home that has both the comforts and modern amenities guests expect. The home feels secluded but is only a mile from lake activities, 1.4 miles from the golf course and country club and 3.7 miles to the ski/bike resort.

Valerie and Mark own the home and want to create a home away from home with guests that will want to return regularly for visits. They enjoy helping guests plan their vacation and activities in the area. There is a trustworthy and capable crew of long-term support to help manage and maintain the property.

What makes this property unique

Cabin in on a private wooded acre. The large deck includes a cedar Nordic hot tub (seats 6), propane fire pit, Weber propane grill and ample seating for al fresco dining.

The interior has an open floor plan with panoramic windows for taking in the view and wildlife. Our guests have seen wild turkeys, elk, deer, bears, chipmunks, black-billed magpies, geese, hummingbirds and more!

Home includes fast fiber internet and two dedicated workspaces as well as 3 smart TVs, Ms. Pac-Man (includes DigDug & more) and a telescope.

The wood burning stove and the sleds are also winter favorites at the cabin.

Guests enjoy the privacy and wonder of the mountains without sacrificing convenience to all the other attractions in Angel Fire.
