The House has 3 bedrooms each with its own bath. It sleeps up to eight people. With a living room, fully equipped kitchen and large outdoor dining terrace that overlooks the mountains and rivers. There is off-street parking for three cars. A private trail leads to the river after a 15 minute intermediate hike. Be prepared to find some amazing swimming pools!

Unique rainforest experience

Such a unique experience being able to stay just outside of El Yunque National Forest. We had easy access to hiking, both on the property and on the southern side of the national forest. The house was well-ventilated and we loved the views from the open deck areas.

End of Summer Vacation

We went to PR for an end of summer family vacation. The home view was absolutely beautiful, and breath taking. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room. Marianna was very welcoming and so was her son. I 100% recommended this location. And we look forward to visiting again.

Amazing ecolodge! In the woods, you sleep to the chirp of coquis. The house is huge and well furnished. It’s old and could use some love. There are a few leaks in the porch roof, but nothing that caused more than an inconvenience. They communicate well, and the location is stunning!

Simple accommodations, but breathtaking views and amazing hiking & river access!!

Matthew & Marianne were lovely hosts…bring everything you need for cooking. Kitchen supplies limited to dishes & appliances. Know before you go that there is no A/C…which turned out to be fine With windows open. You can hike & swim from the property, from Casa Cubut, AND up the road in the national forest. Dreamy!
