This high end 3 bedroom 3.5 bath oceanfront condo is just steps from downtown Jaco and overlooks Jaco's famous cinnamon sands. Vista Las Palmas was completed in 2008 and has only 50 luxury units that share a large swimming pool next to the beach. The mulitple level pool is great for relaxing, swimming, or playing with kids. It also has a small gym and hot tub.
The unit is professionally decorated with custom high end furniture, flat screen TV's, and ample space. Each bedroom suite has its own attached bathroom and TV. You will also find a dishwasher, WI-FI, washer/dryer, personal safe, and pool towels in the unit. Linens are also provided. 24 hour security and on site property management services are there for your peace of mind.
Enjoy the spacious wrap around balcony to maximize your view in the morning over coffee or in the evening while the sun is setting. Jaco has hosted the World Surfing Championships and future surfing talent can be viewed from your balcony most days. Both the Master and one of the guest bedrooms has views of the ocean.
Jaco is located less than an hour and a half from the San Jose airport. You don't need a car for your stay because a grocery store is two blocks from the complex and you are under a five minute walk to all of the restaurants Jaco is known for.

We are Employee Benefits professionals that live in Colorado. After extensive travel to find our ideal vacation location, we immediately realized Costa Rica was a place where we wanted to spend more time. On our second trip to the area, we purchased our first property in Jaco. Two years later we purchased this larger unit to accomidate bring friends down. It is great to escape the snow in Colorado in the winter and we have also enjoyed spending much of our summer in Costa Rica.
Sabrina Fahey purchased this condo in 2010
Location and quality is what made us want to own in this development from the first time we visited. We like that you can easily walk to everything in Jaco, but the complex is still quiet and lets you get away from the everyday. The property manager lives on site with his family which means quick responce to any issues or concerns.
We love walking on the beach, being able to watch the surfers, and spending family time together. Also, since we can easily walk into town no one is ever 'stranded' in the unit while others are having fun. This is the premier address for Jaco.
Jaco is my new vacation town of choice! The condo complex and condo are beautiful and the perfect location from all of he restaurants/shops. The views are breathtaking and you can hear the ocean in almost every room. The amenities of this specific condo were great! Everything you need. There is very friendly 24 hour security which we liked since it was 3 young women. Would highly recommend Vista Las Palmas and Jaco to everyone.
My friends and I spent 3 nights in this condo and it was perfect. More than enough space for 4 grown men (3 couples would do well here). Overlooking the pool and the beach. We opened the sliding doors and the wind and waves crashing made us feel like we were on the beach. Very friendly and helpful property managers. Gated parking lot and security is everywhere. I highly recommend it!
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week. The location is ideal and has great access to the local sites and adventure tours. The town is enjoyable and is easy to navigate. A car is a must to travel about the area and is not difficult to drive to various locations. My wife and I do travel all over the globe and each destination is always an adventure, Jaco is no exception. Locals are nice and the food is great. Beach is very nice and with the look plus the beach a big Hit with all the guests I am sure.
Yes, we would return. Found property to be clean and ready for us.
Great memories, do enjoy !
We stayed for an entire month and felt like locals when we left. Our most favorite thing to do was Beachcombing...both from the 5th floor balcony at Sunset...or on our 3-5 mile beach walk--any time of day. The water is crystal clear and I found many large sand dollars--another great surprise. The beach was like watching a motion picture, front and center with all the activity, and yet, never loud and left pristine and clean each day. TexturedTravel is a great place to view the many shots I took under Jaco Beachcombing--clearly one of the reasons to consider going.
Judging from feedback from folks we met along the way--THE MAIN reason for considering Jessen and Sabrina's place is there's not many like it at their caliber to choose from. It's excellently appointed, tastefully decorated, spacious and definitely priced right. We've had spotty luck with renting places and finding them at the quality that the photos suggested...but here, it was the opposite. It was a WOW moment when we walked in the door and another at the pool area--high quality, very clean. Great kitchen, local supermkts and the Friday Farmer's market made cooking fresh...it was a great way to kick off our Central and South American vacation.
Jaco is a community worth selecting out of the many choices in Costa Rica--if you're looking for funky, laid-back surfing mecca. There were so many day trip memories to visit from here--Manuel Antonio National Park, The Alligator Tour, Villa Calleta, and the Canopy Zip-lining tour---all great suggestions from Jessen and Sabrina. Two others we'd add to the list were Dominical (we rented a car and drove around 2 hours south--a hippy haven with great souvenirs to select from). The second was an overnight to Montezuma. We took the water ferry from Herradura beach-25 to 30 miles across the bay. What a delightful experience to add to our memories. Also well documented in TexturedTravel, just select January under blog or photo gallery to view all suggested.
I think we tried every restaurant recommended and found all of them accurate to their description--truly a time and budget savings when so many choices are available....The Ice Cream place on the main drag was the best--Heladeria El Barco. Cheap, home-made and delish. Whether you're just a freshly minted retired couple like us, or have a slew of kiddo's wanting something unusual to experience...this would be a destination combo to consider; Jessen and Sabrina's in Jaco Beach.
My wife and I just returned from Jaco. This was our first time in Costa Rica. We were guests of Steve and Michelle, friends of Sabrina.
This home is fabulous. Better than the pictures. It is so great to sit on the large porch and watch the sunset. Also, for us fair skinned folks, the pool is out of the sun until 11:15am. So it is a great place to swim and spend time relaxing with a book.
The restaurants are within easy walking distance and are superb. Also the taxi service will deliver you anywhere in town for $2.00 US.
We hope this will be the first of many trips to Jaco.
Thank you for providing such a beautiful place in Paradise.
