Great cabin at Lake Almanor. The owner is really responsive and easy to book with. Cabin is great and has so many personal touches. Beds were super comfy which is important to us! We had a short stay but it was just what we needed! The deck is a great place to relax and have a cocktail! We would definitely stay again!
The cabin was on the small side but perfect. It was comfortable and quiet. A great place for relaxing. The country club is beautiful and the people are friendly. A
We loved staying at the conifer cabin! Our family has 2 young children and a baby and it fit us perfectly. We loved eating on the deck in the coolness of the day and appreciated that the house had so many power strips around, making it super easy to plug things in in convenient locations. The neighborhood is great, the playground and rec beach areas are so fun! Thanks for a great stay! We definitely hope to come back again!
Fantastic, cozy cabin in the Lake Almanor Country Club! Hosts thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable! I enjoyed the swimming and relaxing at the Rec 1 beach and danced the night away to a great, live band at the restaurant on the golf course. So much fun!!!! Great communication with the hosts! Can’t wait to book again!
Very clean and tidy property. It has all the amenities in the listing. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the house. The host has included lots of thoughtful touches like games to play and there were condiments in the kitchen. Very friendly host.
The Lake Almanor area is very beautiful and the Lassen National Park is most certainly worth a visit. The lake was so nice to swim in and if you live close by and can bring kayaks and paddle boards, it would be great to get out on the lake.
I would 100% recommend staying here, just NOT in the height of summer. The loft area was especially hot.

Hi Emma, This last winter we had an air-conditioning unit installed up in the loft and it cools the place beautifully. We had just purchased the cabin and had no idea how hot it got up in the loft. But we defiantly took care of that issue.
We enjoyed our stay. House is clean but basic (not a large newer house). Bedroom and full bath (shower, no bathtub) downstairs and an open loft upstairs with half a bath. Bedroom is directly below the upstairs loft. The immediate neighborhood was very quiet (a little construction going on). The area is beautiful. In a nice gated country club, which has two beach recreation areas with roped off swimming areas (we swam) and other amenities such as pickleball and tennis courts. We were there during the week, and heard the area in general is busy on weekends. While driving in the country club saw many deer, and a bunny. There are bears in the area and garbage cans must be secured. Recommend the restaurant Il Lago (10 minute drive, on the same peninsula at the lake, family owned), and suggest making reservations especially on a weekend. Lassen Volcanic National Park is an hour away (southern entrance) and highly recommend going there for a full day or perhaps two days. Host/owner communicated well. A negative aspect of the house was that the smoke/CO detectors were non-functional. We would stay at this house again (and bring CO detectors).
