Stuen har et 48 "fladskærms Smart TV med DVD-afspiller, klimaanlæg og gaspejs. Køkkenet inkluderer stort spisebord, køleskab, gaskomfur med ovn, mikroovn, programmerbar kaffemaskine, kaffemølle, brødrister, elektrisk tekande, mixer, blender, elektrisk yngelpande, tallerkener, gryder og pander, sølvtøj og redskaber. Støvsuger, kost & moppe og håndsug leveres til hurtig oprydning. Et stort soveværelse har king-size seng med skrivebord og fladskærms-Smart TV samt skydedøre af glasdøre til dæk med udsigt over søen. Andet soveværelse har queensize-seng. Der er loftsventilatorer i hvert værelse. Der er sengetøj og håndklæder. Hårtørrer leveres i ommodificeret badeværelse med glasbruser. It's not only having the option of recreation, it's also that peaceful setting to charge and re-charge your life. We chose this property because it has everything! It has a great location on the north shore of the Peninsula of Lake Almanor that allows it to get a lot of sun and great views of the lake. Because it is located in Big Cove, it is sheltered from the wind and it provides easy access in and out of the marina.
Our Cabin #12 is also part of a quiet resort that has many additional facilities such as a picnic area, boat launch, boat slips, fire pit, fish cleaning station etc.
While the cabin is located in a quiet, lakeside setting, it is also near the town of Chester that has many amenities including a hospital.
Cabin #12 is only two hours from our home in Reno that allows us to use it ourselves quite often. There are no high passes to cross in the winter time, allowing us to get there in summer and winter.
Lake Almanor is a beautiful lake that is not as commercialized or crowded as other lakes in Northern Nevada and California. The lake is a pretty blue and many of its sunrises and sunsets are to die for! It has four great seasons and does not have extremes that are difficult to contend with.
What is not to like about this property?

We feel there are three major reasons why Cabin #12 is unique for a great stay:
1. COMFORT: We put king and queen size 'pillow-top' mattresses on the beds in the bedrooms. We know how difficult it can be to sleep in discomfort when away from home. With our stays averaging between 3 days and two weeks, we wanted to make sure our guests feel comfortable, day and night.
We also put in a large dining room table with padded chairs to make people comfortable while eating or playing cards and games. We added a comfortable leather chair in addition to the couch and other chairs.
2. CONVENIENCE: Cabin #12 is located across the street from the Red Onion restaurant and bar and the Peninsula Market that has an award winning deli and coffee shop. You can cook on the gas grill on the lake view deck or buy breakfast at the Market Deli or have a great dinner and drink at the Red Onion. They are both within easy walking distance of the cabin.
Having a free boat launch and slip during your stay makes lake activities convenient for you. Everything you need is within a short walk. If you need more, the town of Chester is less than 8 miles away and Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park is only 35 miles away. There are many many adventures waiting for you within minutes!
3. CONNECTION: Like many places, we offer free wifi. We also offer an office desk and wireless printer to catch up on a few minutes of work while you're enjoying your adventures! For evening relaxation, we installed a 48 inch flat screen Smart TV along with a DVD Blue Ray Player and Apple TV. We know how important it is to be connected these days and we have tried to accommodate your needs away from home.
