Welcome to your waterfront private retreat, where breathtaking views await. Nestled on scenic shores, this tranquil haven offers an unparalleled escape. Step onto the deck & soak in the mesmerizing sights & sounds of the bay. Dolphins, ospreys & more await. Inside, you’ll find a newly renovated private space, providing comfort to relax. Whether you’re sipping coffee/wine on the deck or exploring the nearby white beaches and emerald green waters of Destin, this enchanting getaway promises an unforgettable experience. We call it, “Splash of Color”.

The decks -
As you walk through the 100 year old Florida style gate down your private walkway you’ll come upon your two wooden decks. You’ll have amazing unobstructed views of sparkling starry nights and the twinkling of city lights of Destin and Sandestin across the expansive bay. You might also catch the pod of dolphins that like to hang out by our place. Or the beaver. You’ll find some artsy sections of the deck to share on your socials too.
Your space Once inside you'll find a newly renovated bedroom, a queen bed with individual coil and memory mattress, luxurious bedding, hanging smart TV with Roku, table and 2 chairs, closet with hangers, and a full size bathroom with Cannon towels. A mini frig with waters, a microwave and a coffee bar are included.

On the Go -
Available to you are two beach towels to take to the beach.

Guest access -
You will have full access to the newly renovated bedroom, bath and both decks. Gate access and room access codes will be sent to you the day of, prior to your arrival.

Other things to note -
There is no kitchen available, however there is a microwave, coffee pot and small refrigerator. The complete home itself is vacant as we are planning a complete remodel. I’m so excited to revamp the rest of the home so, in the meantime, I’ve updated this west side of the house for you to enjoy. We have another unit called the Vibe on the far upper east side.

All I ask is that you hang used towels in bathroom, turn things off, lock up, return the key and mix codes on lockbox and gate. TY

We are on a sensitive septic system so nothing down toilets except toilet paper and human waste. Even if product says ok to use with septic please no
No fireworks on or off the decks. No real flammable candles inside or outside unit. No grilling on the deck. Basically nothing with flames or heat. TY

Great Private Getaway

Quiet and private! Perfect couple's spot!!

Excellent communication from owner, clear directions, very quaint clean space perfect for two, very comfy bed !! Saw dolphins as we sipped our wine from the balcony overlooking the ocean. Quick 10 minute drive over the bridge to Destin. Absolutely loved and already looking forward to next time.

Perfect Getaway

Nancy has crafted the idyllic getaway for anyone looking to slow down and take a breather from the craziness and chaos of life. Nancy made sure that we felt welcomed and were provided with all of the necessities to feel at home. She is an amazing host and this experience was one of the best that my wife and I have had in quite some time. We cannot wait to book our second visit here!! Why they chose this property

This area is so close to Destin and it’s waterfront. Most all waterfront in Destin are condos. I wanted to find something unique and more personal. More private. A place to get away from the crowds but could easily pop over to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Everything! It’s a rare find in its location and structure. We are taking this old 1980’s home and bringing it back to life!

It sits right on the water and stands alone! Full views over the bay give amazing views and the opportunity to see all kinds of sealife! We normally have dolphins swimming by to eat which is so fascinating.

The privacy of the deck and space itself makes this very unique. It’s simple but exquisite in its rustic deck charm yet up to date interior.

Inside, I love uplifting, bright, unique decor and you’ll see this in all my places I have on Airbnb and VRBO.

In this home we have the Splash and The Vibe. Completely opposite sides and on different floors. The center of the home is vacant so both are completely private. The only time you might run into another guest is while parking.
