Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Clean and new but…
Property is new, clean, and tastefully appointed but we would not stay here again. BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER, SOAP, SHAMPOO, PAPER TOWELS AND KLEENEX!
1) Poor Communication: Property manager did not communicate or send door code until I messaged via VRBO app and texted as we were preparing to board our flights. No checkout instructions. Did not respond when I said the property had no toilet paper, no hand soap, and mentioned broken items. If it was my property, I would have been embarrassed and taken toilet paper and hand soap to the property ASAP (no matter what the hour). Radio silence for two days is inexcusable. Not even an apology.
2) False Advertising: Twin bed is a futon chair in a tiny office which was useless as a sleeping surface (except perhaps okay for a young child under 10). Bring a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor instead.
3) Neighborhood: Property is a new-ish town home in the middle of a rundown industrial neighborhood. Quiet and felt safe enough within the three block development, but as soon as you exit the area there are homeless and drug addicts wandering the streets within a few blocks. Was not a problem for us since we had a car. Just know this is not a place to walk around and explore Albuquerque.
Water pressure was excellent and hot water seemed plentiful. Shag carpet desperately needs to be vacuumed but rest of house seemed clean. Sufficient plates and bowls if you want to reheat leftovers but not enough equipment to cook a meal.
