Don't waste your time or money
We booked for 5 nights originally but after the first night we vacated the premises and had to locate another places to stay. Vertical blinds wouldn't close in all rooms and many vanes were broken, no A/C or heating, carpet was full of stains in all rooms, showers not cleaned, bathroom cabinet door broken, bed linens weren't clean, no USB ports for device charging, no smoke detectors at all in apartment. Walls had smears and hand prints on walls, one very flimsy towels for each 4 guest to last for our 5 day stay. The apartment was not furnished with vacationers in mind to high standards as stated in the rental info.
This place was totally unacceptable. I contacted the We Host Group (out of state and likely out of country) the next morning to let them know we were vacating for all the reasons stated above. VRBO insists the manager of the property needs to be given a chance to fix the problem if there is a complaint but there was no way this was an isolated issue with this property, Filing a complaint with VRBO will be useless. I wasn't even able to upload any of the photos I had taken and all they will do is contact the property owner.
We are totally disgusted our hard earned money we paid for this property is obviously down the drain. What was even more insane is that we had to pay a damage deposit for a place that was already damaged! VRBO does not vet their property owners or stand behind its renters.
